This product isn’t what I was really expecting. I thought it was more of a dry shampoo but it is a powder that thickens the density of the hair to give it volume and texture. I didn’t care for how it made my hair feel rough and like it was dirty. It seems to help with the thickness but it didn’t add much volume to my 3 day unwashed hair. It doesn’t really have any smell and I like that the white powder blended into my hair.

I have really fine hair . It either will be straight at times and has a decent curl at others. This Big SexyHair Powder gave it a subtle but not strong lift, mostly near the top of my head . It definitely held, the powder has a “tacky-like” feel to it, which causes the lift and hold. It worked well for me.

My usual issue with volumizing hair products is the sticky residue and tacky hair texture that it leaves behind, this SexyHair Big Powder Play is in powder form and leaves no residue behind! You can visibly see your hair gaining volume and feel it too, extremely easy application and perfect for on the go or hair emergencies! My new favorite voluminous and texturizing hair product.

This product is not coming to play! I was unsure what to expect when I received this small bottle of power play by Sexy Hair but as soon as I applied it I knew that this product was here to stay. The powder has no smell like so many hair products do. You can sprinkle it directly onto your roots (and peep the cute star array of the holes on top - I love little details like that!) I applied it to just rolled out of bed, second day hair and it immediately boosted it to looking like I had just freshly blow dried. I'm really impressed with the lifting power! This small container is easily portable and would be a great size for keeping in a purse or desk for a mid day lift or to freshen hair before going out after work.

Upon receiving, I noticed the bottle was 1/3 of the way full. It also did not come with anything covering the opening, so when I opened the lid, the product went everywhere. Normally, brands put a sticker over the holes. The product has no scent. This is the worst power I've ever used in my hair. It kinda feels like glue. It made my hair feel so dirty and weighed down. I had to wash my hair after using this. It feels so thick and heavy.

Both of my boys have stuck straight flat hair but the teenage boys style now is poofy and kind of curly in the front! They tried a few different powders and this seems to be their favorite. They style it and then use this to poof it and make it “big”. It works very well. The only thing is, don’t use too much. You have to kind of test it first and see how much is the right amount. Too much and it looks dirty and frizzy. Just the right amount and it looks perfect and “rizzy” according to my 12 year old!

Big Sexy Hair Powder Play makes my hair feel full of static during application, so even though I put in quite a bit of effort to fix all the flyaways afterwards, it leaves my hair looking messy. This stuff makes my hair feel sticky, tangled, and unmanageable. I worry about it damaging my hair or causing breakage if I use it too often, but it is effective at creating volume and texture.

This product absolutely adds volume but unfortunately it made my hair feels sticky and tacky - which I guess is what helps with volume! No scent which is nice and the allocation is easy to tap at roots. Will use for special occasions but I don’t like the “sticky” feeling for everyday.

Wow. This stuff adds so much texture and volume. My hair is flat and thin. I look like I have tons of hair! Smell is light and powder ish. Small plastic bottle, perfect for travel. Throw it in your purse and go!

I used this for a wedding and a little bit went a long way! I liked the way it felt in my hair and it stayed all day. The bottle is perfect size to travel and it has lasted a long time. Not to mention how cute the top is definitely a keeper!

I have been a big fan of this product for many years. I have very fine, thin hair and this product instantly gives my hair volume and a boost that lasts all day and sometimes even into the next day. The product itself is sticky and really easy to work with. If you can see the photo I posted one side of my hair does not have the product and the other side is volumized by the product. A little goes along way, and I swear my bottle lasts me forever.

I received these products for free from influenster and Sexy Hair | Style Products in exchange for my honest. The powder is easy to use and does exactly what it claims to do. It's unscented, which I like. It does create massive volume but don't expect to get your hands through your hair. I have curly hair and capable of running my fingers through my hair due to not using any product. After using the powder I had to comb through it and lost a ton of hair. My curls went from defined to loose, pointless to style hair. Straight hair might work better with the product. I may not be the best customer for this particular product.

My sister, a licensed hairdresser, introduced me to this product about, idk, 7 years ago or so and I instantly fell in love. At first I thought the price of it was sorta high but as the months passed by I realized that it lasted well over 6 months and was completely worth every penny spent! I've tried similar products of other brands but nothing compares to this product, it's my beauty secret, that I tell everyone who asks about my hair about (guess it's not so much a secret).
