I should have looked up the reviews before purchasing in store. The lightest shade (laurel beige) is straight up orange when applied, and looks nothing like the shade shown in the photo. It’s not 2009 anymore, I’m not trying to look like an Oompa Loompa or a knockoff Snooki from Jersey Shore. What were they thinking?! Did they not have real people test this before putting it out there?? In what world is this acceptable for light skin tones?? Since the lightest shade is so dark, this might be a great option for medium or darker skin tones.

I've used to before and always got it from my local store but they renovated and don't carry it anymore so that's why I ordered it on line and the color is quite different. Has more of an orangey look than when I got it from the store and not sure why. My skin tone hasn't changed so it was a bit of a surprise.

I liked how velvety smooth this went on. Light to medium coverage. Smelled pleasant. Awesome compact that holds your sponge as well. However, I ordred the Laurel Nude and it was way too orange for me. Very disappointing!

This is the best foundation I have come across. Goes on evenly and I just Love it!! I would definitely recommend it to everyone looking for a foundation that doesn't have a bunch of "not good for you" stuff in it.

Please note that the following comments are only for the foundation used dry; I have not used it wet. This is an excellent foundation for dry to normal skin types. I found that for oily skin areas, the foundation allows a shine to appear after a few hours. Also, order a least one to two shades lighter than from what you think you will need as judged by the samples on the web site. The colors are darker in real life than on the web site. However, for the price point, this foundation can certainly hold its own against far more expensive brands. It would be great if the foundation came in a formula for oily skin.

I've been using the palladio wet and dry dual foundation for years now and it's the only foundation I'll ever use. I love how the shade I use matches my skin tone and looks like im not wearing any make up what so ever. It makes my skin look flawless without being cakey or feel heavy. Its a must have in my make up bag.

I just se to purchase this at Sally’s & they discounted it, I was so upset to say the least! I’m allergic to a lot of products & not only does this fair well with my skin type the coverage it gives is amazing. I don’t even have to wear a foundation & I always get compliments on how evenly balanced my skin appears even though when I remove the foundation powder that is definitely NOT the case my skin is very blotchy so thank you for offering this online it’s the only place I can find it & I buy in bulk so I’m never caught off again with it not being available!!!!

Once great but now terrible !!!! I have used Cypress Beige for a long time and just bought a new compact . THE NEW COLOR IS NOT EVEN CLOSE TO THE OLD COLOR !!!!! I was reading the reviews and all are right !!! Palladio had change formal & color . I compared my old compact with new and their are a BIG color differ !!! I will be returning & get my money back !! I will not buy till the old color is brought back . PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY !!!!!

not the best formula, doesnt stay all day I got it on clearance on Ulta and o didn't know the brand until then. The powder is good but it doesn't last long even if u apply with a wet applicator, I had to apply all over again at 2pm ( 8am is when I applied first). It's oil free so it doesn't cause me breakouts.

Glad to read all the other reviewsI thought I had gotten the wrong color even though I had used Cypress Beige for years. It was so much darker than before. Now that I read these other reviews I see I am not the only one who realizes the darker color. Also I have to agree the formula must have changed because the consistency is kind of rough. Too bad, I've used this product for a long time and really liked it.

Beware! Don't buyFormula is horrible bad. I applied this and my skin looked orange. DONT BUY THIS! The company does not even have a good attitude, they thing they are doing ok stealing money from people with this horrible product. Even if it is not expensive, imagine how much they make $11 per time that an innocent client buys this bad product that cannot be used.If you buy this, you will have to throw it directly into the garbage because that's where this product goes.

Formula changed, does not work when you apply creams & lotions on skinThe formula definitely has changed. I have been using Laurel Nude color for more than 10 years and will stop using unless they bring the old formula back. I had purchased a new one at the same time that I bought a new sunscreen. My face turned pink/red; thinking it was the new sunscreen I removed all lotions on my face and applied the powder and it did not change to a red/pink color. However, when I went back to the old sunscreen and my regular regime, my face is still pink/red. It seems that the new formula has an interaction with whatever cream or lotion you have on your face and it makes it red. If you use the powder without anything on your skin, your skin will not turn pink/red. Still, I have to use my creams/lotions so I will start looking for a replacement of this product.
