After trying many different brands, all $$$$, and having to replace a bed every 4-6 months, these are the beds for us! We started with 1, and put it in the crate of the heaviest bed digger. It’s been a year and there is absolutely no damage, a the foam is still thick and supportive. So, we got a couple more for the others! I am happy to say, these beds last! Highly recommended and approved by 3 Great Danes and an English Mastiff!

The thickness of the cushion is great, my dog recently had a strained hip and was restricted to low activity and needed the extra support for recovery. The mattress cover was also thicker than my previous K9 Ballistic bed so I was expecting many years from this bed. False…. About a month after getting the bed the bed was chewed up and the under mattress cover was ripped apart at the zipper. Really disappointed with this purchase. My last bed lasted years, made be want another one. Now, I guess I’ll be on the hunt for a durable dog bed once again.

Fits well in his crate. My dog is 90+ pounds and when he lays on it, it stays firm. The cover seems very sturdy as does the bed itself. I have another bed from here and it has held up just as well. Loved the bonus ball so thank you for that!

This product is strong and durable, and may actually put live my dogs. Unfortunately they don’t like the sound or feel of the beds. I put blankets on them, and this made a little better, but they still prefer other surfaces for sleeping. Going to try and sew covers to see if this will help :/ It’s possible that my dogs are pitbull princesses, I’m not sure.

Our Rottweiler is 9 yrs old and has degenerative back problems. We upgraded from her ripstop crate pad to this orthopedic crate pad to make her more comfortable. I love that the cover is removable for easy washing.

Listen. We have 10 year old Malinois, a retired police dog, who thinks chewing things to an oblivion is a game. To date-the ONLY things he has not chewed include his k9 Ballistics Armored Elevated ripstop bed AND now his orthopedic dog crate mat. (We were VERY SKEPTICAL of this purchase for him,) buuut…it’s been a week now and he LOVES it. (So does his frenchie brother.)So much so, that he has not even tried to chew it. I received the tough ripstop orthopedic bed for my dog a couple days ago. It appears to be great quality. The foam is firm and supports the weight of my 70 pound pup really well. The fabric cover seems really sturdy and it looks to be really good quality but only time will tell. However because this appears to be such great quality and my dog likes laying on it I already bought a second one. Im keeping my fingers crossed they actually hold up to any abuse she doles out when she is alone for a while and looking for mischief. The only downside so far is the fabric cover does not fit tight so it gets sucked up in the vacuum.

When me and my dog moved, he started acting out. He had never eaten a bed in the first six years I had him, but when we moved, he went through three beds in less than a month. This purchase was my last ditch effort if he didn’t get along with this bed, he was just gonna sleep on the floor. A couple of weeks after this purchase and he has not even scratched it. He can’t dig through it he can’t eat it. This thing is truly unbreakable. My favorite part is that zip ties to the cage so it doesn’t come up. You can keep it in place using the tiedown points. I can’t give this thing enough stars.

I have a catahoula leopard dog who would shred ANYTHING in his crate. Yoy have to understand Houlas can dig a hole to China, eat your couch, kill and bring you a boar, all in a half a day. I was hesitant and skeptical about the k9 ballistic bedding, and thought since its a money back guarantee, what do I have to lose. So, I bought one. Oh my goodness this product surprised me. My pups love their new ortho crate beds. Beds are holding up well due to chewing and digging. They absolutely love them. Very comfortable. I have them in the house and in their kennel. Well worth the money.

So far so good, our Mastiff/Great Pyrenees hasn’t chewed or destroyed her new bed. Since we got it, she has been pretty quiet in her kennel at night.

This may sound ridiculous, but our maincoon cat eats his beds and blankets. He likes to drag them around the house and will dig for the seams/zippers and eat them, resulting in vet visits and surgery. The K9 Ballistic bed is the only one that he has not been able to destroy! We use this bed to secure to the top of his cat tree so that he won't eat the carpet off the top shelf. As a bonus, he loves the complementary tennis ball that came with the bed!

The bed was not an instant hit the way other beds have been, but after 5 days my dog lay on it. It was very firm, but very comfortable to me. Day 3 of use she chewed through a corner of the cover. A few days later we found foam scattered about. For a dog without chewing issues it’s probably a durable choice. For us , we feel the name and implications of the bed were misleading. The warranty is only for a new cover, not for the bed-an expensive mistake!
