I moved from So. Cal. where is was east to find good bagels to Idaho. Can't find a deli or bagels that are true bagels. I ordered my first dozen and now I am hooked. They are truly chewy and wonderful. The grandkids are excited when my box arrives.

I've lived OUT of NYC longer than I ever lived IN NYC. There is one thing that I miss about the Big Apple: the food. 24 hours a day you can get the best X (whatever food is your pleasure) in NYC. There are some foods that can be substituted by acceptable similar foods. I have found a few pizza places, for example, that might not rival the mom & pop shops in Queens from the 1970's, but do a pretty good job in their own light. However, I have NEVER found a bagel I could reasonably compare to a NYC bagel. The closest is Breugger's Bagels in the Midwest, but they're much smaller than the NYC bagel you'd get at a local deli. This is the context within which my five-star review of New Yorker Bagels is submitted. Four minutes in an oven and the onion bagel is as close to fresh NYC bagels as one can get without being in NYC. I suspect I will be reordering very soon.

Cheap junk. 3 raisens in one bagel total, max. Don’t knock yourself out! Undercooked hunks of dough for maximum price. Minimum ingredients , one sided for poppy seeds and hardly any onions in the supposed onion ones. Even my friends would not take them for free. Total ****.
