I didn’t realize it was a sample size. It’s so small I can’t get any product out. So far I can’t give a good review because nothing sticks to the brush when I put it in the eyeshadow size jar. The packaging was nice.

Really great undertone match! I have an olive complexion, and I find that many brands tend to either lean too orange or oxidize that way, but this one stays true to my tone.

Kevyn Aucoin was a genius. This is such a beautiful foundation. The color 06 is perfect for my light medium (slight olive undertone) skin. Don’t be fooled by the pic,It’s lighter and neutral. I’m 50 and this doesn’t exaggerate my wrinkles either! The finish is matte but not drying.

Kevyn Aucoin has some of my absolute favorite face products. The foundation balm is absolutely no exception. I ordered a mini bc my shade is lighter than before so I wanted to test the color. The mini is so cute, it even comes with a MINI brush lol. I’m obsessed. This product sits so well on my 38 year old dry, maturing skin. Chefs kiss.

This product was nice. I have the full and mini foundation balm. used the beauty blender as it worked better than the brush for my face. The texture was smooth. I had to applt it twice to get a good full coverage. The finish was still smooth and didn’t feel cakey. I would recommend this product.

As I bought the sample size, which comes in a small pot with a small brush that fits inside, it takes me a lot of time to cover my face; I was hopeful to make my foundation application quicker, but the regular size may avoid this issue. The coverage is medium, with the ability to build to full or even concealer coverage easily. The finish was a soft matte, which is nice. The two reasons this was not a five star review (and both reasons are somewhat on me) are the above mentioned small size making it time consuming to cover my face as well as the color being slightly too light - even though I used the shade matching tool to pick the color. I'll try again in the winter when my skin is a shade or two lighter than it is in the summer. While I would not say that I'll not buy this again, due to finding a different brand that matched my skin better and is quicker to cover, I am not sure that I will repurchase a different shade or a larger size in the future, unless I become unhappy with my current brand.

I like the coverage and the way it blends, but the light shade looks like I have on white clown makeup. I'm currently using it as concealer under my eyes. I plan to try the medium before I give up. It has the potential to be wonderful.
