This is one of the first toners I’ve used when I started out my skincare journey many, many years back. It has been in the Asian market since the 80s and still popular for a reason. It’s one of the most effective for getting that glow from within look. It’s a brightening toner, lightweight and easily absorbed, hydrating enough on my oily skin, smells pleasant, layers well with other products. I’ve used the Japanese version previously and this US version doesn’t feel or smell any different. I checked the label and confirmed it’s made in Japan. I was initially so surprised by this product, as I expected a moisturizer, but instead? It is MUCH more like a toner! This watery product is easy to pour into the palm of my hands and pat into my skin. It feels soothing and refreshing, although I did find myself surprised by the alcohol scent in here. If you have more sensitive skin, I would say to proceed with caution. I read through the claims and noted that the product says it will offer a smoother and more radiant complexion with continued use. Personally, I do not have long term results as I tried a sample complimentary from the brand. But the brand seems well established and I quite enjoyed my sample. Overall, I would say I like it.

It was light on my face but was very effective to hydrate my skin. It was a good skin prep to put on before my moisturizer to calm and soothe.
