I love the Cove! But this one is just a little smaller - best fit for our bathroom in our new , more limited space. Love the high walls on both. Easy to clean, great product. Recommend it to (cat) people all the time.

I have had cats in my life for literally, my entire life. I purchased 2 for the latest additions to our family, 2 Maine **** kittens and even the littlest one had no difficulty getting in and out. They can do the litter box dig like the crazy monkeys kittens are. It cleans easily with nothing sticking to the bottom ( eewwww) and the sides keep the litter under relative control.

Like many others, I have had my eye on the larger Cove litter box for a while but it was a little out of my price range, and it was slightly too large for where I needed to put the litter box. I have limited space in my bathroom and there was only one spot in my where a litter box would fit! Anyway, I jumped on the chance to buy this when it came out and the company was nice enough to send me a free shipping code. The quality of this box is amazing and built very sturdy. I can notice a difference when I’m cleaning it that the clumps don’t stick at all to the bottom and it’s super easy to clean. I had a cheap basic litter box before, and it was a mess with my cats kicking up litter, and it looked like an eyesore. I love that this one is sleek and actually pretty (as far as litter boxes go!) My cats are picky about things (because.. they’re cats) and I was a little worried they wouldn’t like the higher sides, but they took to it immediately. If you’re on the fence, I highly recommend getting this. Also, this was my first time ordering from this company and they seem really attentive and focused on you being happy with your order :) shipping was really fast and their email communication was great too!

I already own two of the Cove boxes with surround. The multi-piece design is truly elegant. The higher surround and inner lip truly prevent urine spill over/out when used by my senior, high-peeing male kitty. I haven't found an effective alternative - and I've tried dozens of cat box models. Unfortunately, I began to find the weight and bulk just too much to manage during the weekly washing in the tub - even when I separated the two-piece base by removing the screws. The introduction of the Cubby came just in time. It's a lighter weight model, without the extra pieces, length, and weight needed for a brush and scoop. The surround is identical and interchangeable with that of the Cove's surround. The pan (where the litter sits) is the same dimension also. I own three Cubby's now and attest that I find them much easier to carry and wash. As an FYI, I have five cats. So, that's a lot of cleaning! I strongly advise purchasing the Tuft and Paw scoop if you don't have one already. It will prevent the pan surface from developing the surface scratches (and as a result, stuck on clumping litter) that will occur with a regular, hard plastic scoop. It really is worth the added cost to protect your investment. Also, after I scoop, I gently wipe the surround and inner lip edge with a litter box wipe. This always keeps the surround clean for its next use. Thank you again for developing this Cubby design. It really has been a HUGE help to me. Five starts+!!

Ok I will admit I was skeptical of this litter box and if it would be high enough or big enough. I have 23 cats so I am very particular or my cats are very particular about the litter boxes. This has passed my expectations. No urine outside of the box, easy to clean large enough room for my large 17lb cat. Now I just need to save money to get more of them.

This litter box is a major upgrade for my boys. I had been considering the Cove but the price was a deterrent. After adopting a new kitten, who scatters litter a bit more and also likes to reach very far outside the box to clean up after himself, I decided it was time to look again. Its high walls make the Cubby an ideal alternative to standard litter boxes and it's a simpler, less expensive alternative to the Cove. The Cubby is easier to clean because the wet litter isn't sticking to the box like it did with our previous litter boxes. The high sides keep the mess in and everything feels so much more sanitary and contained now. We've had such a good experience that we'll order a second Cubby to replace our upstairs box.

I have the Cove as well but got two of these these because they were easier for me to handle. When I first put out the new boxes, my cats lined up to check them out. They now have three of your litter boxes, all of which they happily use.
