It's beautiful and functional. Easy to carry and it looks very chic. Won't dump contents if you gave it zipped up on the passenger seat if you have a sudden stop when driving.

I never thought I would LOVE any Colors but the Neutral Tones….. boy was I WRONG…… this SMALL BACALAR TOTE IS ABSOLUTELY MY FAVORITE!!! I bought the Cowboy Tassel to go by with it! Love.Love.Love! I will be buying the Zip-Zap Duo Wallet in Bacalar Shortly which I already have in Black of course!!!!!

I have exclusively used by Portland Leather tote bag (medium: cognac) and with twice a year leather conditioning and waterproofing I can say it looks as good as the day I bought it over five years ago! The leather has become more supple, I've had some spills in it and it has carried everything from small potted plants and and fidgets to jars of jam and really good bagels! I have four children and a busy life and I need a handbag that isn't fussy. This is the one! We're a bonded pair, this bag and I! I just bought it in honey because my cognac is still looking fine! I'm at the age and stage in life where I worry that a company will stop making what I love. How many of these bags is too many to last me the rest of my lifetime, because I want to safely get too many plus one!

Love the size and quality of the tote. The only negative is the shoulder straps. I wish they were made similar to the purses. The rough unfinished edges of the straps are not comfortable. Especially in the tote is weighted down.

I got a medium with zipper in color Bacalar. So far good, for me it's the perfect size to take to work if you don't carry a laptop.
