I am a Florida guy, so when the Christmas tree guy's showed up at Christmas time, this is what it smells like, "pure heaven". Walking around at night time with my children looking for a tree under their tents and lots of lights - this is what these incense smell like for me, thank you.

I don’t leave reviews often, but I definitely wanted to share my thoughts on these wood incense specifically on the piñon logs. First, I didn’t know they existed..So there is that!! We recently moved and our new home has a gas burning fireplace, not a big fan but hey it’s less of a mess and hassle. My wife or I will always mention it’s just not the same with out the wood burning smell, I’m sure you all know what I’m saying here. So a few weeks ago while I’m sitting and having coffee near the fireplace and I start think how can I recreate this wood burning experience with our fireplace?!?! The things that are found on the internet, (haha) my search brought me to jerky.com. I was actually shocked, I even laughed in amazement that someone thought of this!! I had to paint this picture for this review, so thank you for hanging in here. Now, these little logs blew my mind!! I truly did not know what to expect. Piñon wood has been my favorite of all the firewood we have used. I read the words incense, so I’m thinking of all the incense sticks and how they smell to strong or nothing like the real thing!! When I lite the first log, I was shocked!!! Wow, it brought me back to our last wood burning fireplace. My wife laughed at me for even looking up such a thing and she was surprised as well. You won’t be disappointed. I will be ordering again soon. I would recommend getting the 7 scent samples unless you like one in particular.

I bought this incense during a trip to New Mexico in the early 2000s and loved it. I was surprised to see it offered here for sale. I didn't hesitate since I knew how much I liked it and can honestly say that it hasn't changed a bit. Just fantastic!

First time trying these wood incense and absolutely love them. They burn very well, leaving very little ashes, justifying potency. The aroma is therapeutic and smells like it could be a memory booster with time. I will certainly purchase again. Light weight aroma to relieve heavy weight energy.

I ALWAYS used incense from a competitor. Just saying the competitor has lost a customer. The bricks may not last as long burning, BUT the fragrance, which we're all using incense for, does. The holder is better, the variety is better, fragrance is stronger and lasts longer. My order arrived on time. The bricks were not damaged as packaging is adequate. Looking forward to my next purchase. So long former supplier. Thankful I took the chance with Jerky. Looking forward to trying other quality products.

Shortly after moving to New Mexico in 2005 we discovered Incensio De Santa Fe at a small shop near my home. I fell in love. It invokes the feeling of cool southwestern nights, the moon shining giant and bright, coyote yips and howls echoing over the dry sanded hills, and the wind bringing the crisp, spiced aromas of piñon burned from our neighbor's stoves. I would blow a kiss to the moon and hide it's returned love under my pillow. I burn each one and am calmed and relax, remembering a small bit of my childhood. I was given Chipotle Bourbon after I did the quiz...I did not like it at all. I much prefer the thin, crisp, lightly flavored red chili or green chili varieties found in northern New Mexico.

The incense assortment box came, wrapped and packaged nicely. After burning one of each fragrance however, my nose cannot differentiate one fragrance from another. In my opinion, these “cones” are produced as compacted sawdust and colored in slightly different tones but, there is no difference in the fragrance; as least nothing perceptible to my pretty keen sense of smell.

Haven't tried all the scents yet but so far I'm liking it. The incense needs to be a little stronger. They tend to crumble when putting into the holder

It is hard to find a “square” incense log. I was so excited to find these. The scent is wonderful!

To have all these different wood types but they all pretty much smell the same. I guess the closest thing you can compare them to is if you had a fireplace. I was looking for like a barbecue hickory smell, but you don't really get that. It's not bad it's not great and the little cubes kind of hard to light. And the holder that they provide with the sampler pack is pretty inadequate.

I love all the different scents but I had never tried mesquite until just recently. Unlike most of the other scents, the mesquite doesn't have much of a smell in its unlit state, so I was worried. However, once lit, it was amazing, and the mesquite scent lingers for quite a while even after it burns itself out. I love it.
