I love the hard finish with this gloss coating. I have used it on sandal-style dress shoes to protect the leather edging along the outer edge. I used it on some older shoes that would otherwise have to be thrown away, and now they are all spruced up and ready to enjoy again.

I use this as an edge finish on chrome tan wallets. I love customers being able to see the layers of leather. Chrome tan doesn’t produce a great edge but with a little work and this gloss it looks great.

I am impressed with the finish this product put on my leather, but I live in an area with a very dry climate, so applying the first coat with a small brush, the clear coat would begin to set up after two strokes. For the second coat, I poured some clear coat into a small container and mixed in a few drops of water (and used a bigger brush) and had excellent results.

I used an airbrush to apply and it did not go on well. Shiny in some spots and dull in others. Cracked when drying without touching it. Was trying to use for the patent leather on Jordan 11s

Among the other Angelus 4-Coat finish options, this High Gloss seems most concentrated. It has a powerful chemical smell and thick consistency that penetrates rapidly, deeply and thoroughly into leather and leather-simulated materials. It's no polish, it's more like a factory treatment. Once dry, the worn, flaccid feel of old leather is gone, returning to near original texture and firmness. Works well with the Angelus Satin -- which I applied first, followed by the High Gloss sixty seconds later -- to produce a lustrous finish that glows in my living room. You can easily get creative to generate the exact look and effect you like. Can't wait to try it on my car seats!

I brushed this on some football cleats I painted. Used 3 light coats….let each coat dry before the next & it still peeled when the cleats were worn. Not sure what went wrong….The gloss shine paint I use works way better & has never pealed.

waisted time and money and had to deglaze and re-paint. This high gloss is no good used with a paint brush. I followed the directions precisely using a paint applied watery and clumpy. I waited for the air bubbles to settle after shaking the bottle, so there were no clumps in the bottle. The areas that managed to apply smoothly was streaky and didn't simulate patent leather at all. This video and the other tutorials all use an air brush and/or heat dryer thingy, but your instructions on the bottle does not say these tools are required. You should state on the bottle that an airbrush is required because I had to deglaze my entire project and start over....waist of money in my opinion.
