The habaneros did not germinate. Not a single one. My other peppers ordered from Botanical interest have taken off, germinated quickly and grew quickly as well.

I grew these habanero peppers for the first time summer 2022. The plants took a long time to mature and flower to eventually produce the fruit. Once they started however, there were peppers all over the plant. Short plants but loaded; great for growing in containers. They are HOT and when fresh, we could only use half or less of one pepper to flavor a dish. I picked them all before the first frost, threw them in a zip lock bag and froze them. The heat definitely tones down with freezing. We use one whole pepper per dish, i.e. a pot of chili, soup, stew, etc. I would highly recommend them. They have a unique smoky amazing flavor.

Still producing beautiful red peppers indoors and it is January. I grow them for the bright green foliage and the fruit (I can't tolerate the heat, but enjoy their appearance)
