Works well, I use it every other day to shave my head. I use a safety razor on the even days and the Freebird Pro on the odd days. The Pro cleans up my head for that smooth feeling.

Both shavers are great but I think I might actually like the previous version. It stinks that the newer version has more expensive blade replacements. If I had to do it all over again would probably stick with the older version especially since the replacement blades are cheaper.

It does ok, the blades don't last long at all, I get maybe 5 good full head and face shaves.
I have a 36yo norelco that still cuts smooth.
Maybe I should have tried another shaver.

I was given a flex series as a gift. It worked ok but I thought I would try the Pro blade to possibly get an even closer shave. It did not shave any closer and maybe not as close.
