I have been using this product for years off and on. I am a natural blonde and dye my hair black off and on. I have slightly thin/fine hair that can damage very easily. My last bleaching session didnt go so well when I decided to use a different product seeing as this was no longer sold at my local stores. This does the job pretty well without the excessive damage that others do. Its so cool to watch the process of lightening unfold when you apply this stuff. Get a good conditioning treatment to use after you rinse/shampoo it. DONT use any other products. This is your one. Promise!

I'll preface this by saying I've used MP bleach before and had an absolutely wonderful time with it. I found it was gentle and conditioning while still stripping color. I don't know if they've changed the formula since last I used it or what, but even using this for the absolute bare minimum time required will completely strip your hair. Not of color, but of health and natural oils. Used 2 of these to prep for dye, massaged it in for a long time (which I factor into total bleach time) to make sure I got every strand saturated. Still got a crazy uneven bleach, but it wasn't that huge of a deal. What IS an issue is how harsh this bleach is. I don't have sensitive hair by any means - I've put it through the wringer many times - but this managed to damage it in ways I never could. Went from having soft, thick curls to a brittle, frizzy mess, and I don't even know if it's fixable. Bizarre and disappointing since I've used this before with no issues.

My hair color from the bottom was pretty blonde but the only complain about the service is that it did not have more product so it did not lifted that blonde given how long my hair is but the part the bleach did cover lifted really well.

I've bleached my hair before with other brands, but this works probably three times as fast! I needed two kits, and the first patches I'd applied to were already super blonde by the time I got to the end of tub #1. definitely using this brand from now on.

It was a good bleach and everything was easy enough to use, I just have thick, long hair so I should've bought 2 kits to fully saturate my hair. Then, I don't think it would've been so patchy.

This isn't a review but a question! My niece has black hair with blue streaks. She's now wanting a black and bleach blonde peekaboo (black on top & white underneath). The black dye shouldn't be a problem but the white underneath i don't know about? Will this product take all the color out of her hair? It won't make it a brassy blonde will it? If so will I have to bleach more than once? Like do 2 bleachings a day apart? I really appreciate your help on this, I just want to turn out right!!
