I’ve played Pickle Grab a few times now, and it’s become one of those games that makes everyone yell and laugh from the get go. There’s this perfect moment of chaos when someone flips a Pickle Card and everyone lunges across the table. I didn’t expect a jar, a fake pickle, and some cards to cause this much joy, but it’s now a guaranteed favorite at our game nights.

My group had a ton of fun playing! It's reminiscent of Slap Jack, and everyone loved trying to swipe the pickle before the others plunged it back into its jar. Great as a casual party game, and just like similar games, it can get bloodthirsty real quick depending on who you're playing with.

Wild fun with a quick and easy set up. Great for travelling to have something on hand that is engaging and doesn't need a bunch of space. Set it up quick and absolutely ridiculous chaos and fun will follow!

This game proved to be a great way to end two nights of parent teacher conferences for a staff of middle school teachers. We did all decide that we definitely could not play this game with middle schoolers and waited until all parents were gone; we could not handle grabbing a pickle with parents or students watching.

Pickle grab was incredibly easy to learn, especially for younger kids. After a couple rounds, everyone was laughing and having an epic-kle time! Both kids and adults enjoyed the game, I would recommend it for anyone that wants a quick and easy game to supplement their game night!

First things first, the components are FANTASTIC! The pickle, the jar, the plate/mat, it all looks and works great. Rules are incredibly simple (you flip a pickle card, you grab the pickle; opponent flips a pickle card, you snatch the plate) and turns are taken with the flip of a card so it moves super fast. Overall, this is a cute, simple, and accessible dexterity game for everyone.

Pickle Grab turned out to be a fantastic choice for family fun, full of laughter and lighthearted competition. It’s especially enjoyable with more than three players. It’s easy to pick up so adding players isn’t difficult. The pickle, the star of the game, is surprisingly well made and full of quirky charm. If you’re looking for a game for the upcoming holidays… PICKle this one up.. I want to add that this can easily be turned into a drinking game for adult game night…

We had a lot of fun playing this game as a family. It wasn’t too competitive and perfect for a low key family game night. My seven year old is obsessed with the pickle, and he is very cute. This was a fun one!

We played with three adults and a teen, and we found that it was very reliant on your reflexes! We had to get used to grabbing the plate vs grabbing the pickle…. A lot of times we got too anxious and ended up knocking the whole thing down. Calmer heads need to prevail! Suggestion to maybe make the plate bigger? The pickle thief has the advantage, the games go very quickly. Not much more thought than that is involved, a very simple game if that is what you are looking for!

We played Pickle Grab with 4 people of differing ages and, as almost always with Exploding Kittens games, we had a lot of fun!! Great design, the cutest pickle, solid concept, we had some laughs, minimal injury 😝 However, we did have some issues with gameplay. The pickle thief has a huge advantage because it’s much much harder to register the cards others are playing, even when focusing on quick flips and other’s cards. Additionally 2 grabs ended up on the table, none ended up in the jar and all the rest were claimed by the pickle thief. All ties went to the pickle thief because the plate is very small. We only had one attempt of grabbing the pickle when a pickle card wasn’t played. One person liked it but didn’t think they’d play it again. Maybe we played too hesitantly and a faster tempo would make it more fun. Final note: MORE SQUEEZY AVATARS!!

The game is quick and easy to learn which made it a great game to start our night. The setup was easy but trying to straighten the card stock plate was hard since it was rolled into the jar. It wasn’t affecting the gameplay too much but made it look weird and sagged a little on the edges after placing the pickle. The pickle is very good though. It has good weight for the plate. The game was fun to play. It did feel a little easier to grab the plate than the pickle but that could just be that my friends weren’t as good. Haha. Either way, it was fun party game and a great game that started our game night.

Pickle Grab is very easy to learn and play. The gist is, if you flip over a pickle card you have to grab the pickle before the others take the plate and the pickle falls in the jar. If you are fast enough you collect the cards, the more cards you have the better. That's it! The game provides simple fun and plenty of laughs and oh come-ons. It will bring out the competitive nature of everyone. My 9 year old daughter loves playing! Games last about 10 minutes. Overall, Pickle Grab is a fun game that can be brought to any game night.

We tried out "Pickle Grab" from Exploding Kittens, and it's exactly what you'd expect from the company: a very fast-paced, silly, and gimmick-based party game that's great for kids and adults looking for a quick, high-energy laugh. The rules are incredibly simple and easy to learn. We had a group ranging from an 11-year-old to a grandparent, and everyone got the hang of it in just a couple of minutes. The game is all about quick reflexes. You balance a cute, weighted foam pickle on a "plate" card. This plate sits on top of the soft plastic pickle jar the game comes in. Players take turns flipping over cards from their own decks. If a "Pickle" or "Plate" card is revealed, it's a race. The player who flipped the card (the "Thief") tries to either grab the pickle or pull the plate out to dunk the pickle into the jar. Everyone else teams up to try and beat the Thief to the punch. It moves fast, and as you'd imagine, there's a lot of laughing and shouting as everyone lunges for the right piece. It's definitely one of those "just one more round" kinds of games. Pickle Grab" is a genuinely fun, fast-paced, and silly game that is perfect for a lively family gathering or as a small gift. The rules are easy, and it guarantees laughter.
