Smaller than I would have liked. Pen is too small for the hands of a 3-5 year old learning to write. Comes with lots of ink cartridges. Normal sized tin foil box in photo for scale. Ink disappears quickly. Make grip thicker for small hands with some tape or pencil grips, and you’re all set
