I’m sure with block ice it’s even better, but this cooler goes days while maintaining a low temperature point for our food as we head into month 3 of camping. Couldn’t be happier. Wish the dividers and baskets came with it, a definite must to keep your food dry and organized. Blows away my Yeti!

I purchased this cooler along with 6 Engler cooler 5 degree ice packs. I was traveling and has purchased a bunch of fresh salmon that I froze. I wanted to make sure it would remain frozen during a three day car trip in 85 degrees. Folks it did!!!!!! I was ecstatic and couldn’t be more impressed. The money is definately worth the investment. Salmon all still frozen hard 3 days later!

Received 4 Freezer packs for my 2 great Engel coolers. Decided to leave my bulky Yeti coolers in the closet and grab my Engel coolers that are a lot lighter and just as good. The packs fit well, work well and are very easy to grab thanks to the convenient handle. Unfortunately, one of the packs was dented in shipping despite being expertly packed. Contacted Engel and there was a replacement being shipped the next day. That’s great customer service for a great line of products.

Cooler blocks work as designed. If using freezer block, make sure your freezer can keep a 0° temp. or colder freezer temp. Works as designed. Had issues with 1st freezer block ordered. These cooler packs really keep things COLD! I put some pre-made (thawed) burger patties in the cooler and added one XL 5lb. freezer pack. Not only did it keep things cold, it actually froze them. Couldn't ask for a better result. Great job Engel!
