If you’re thinking about buying one go ahead and do it you will thank me later. How many foam or cheap bait buckets have you bought in the past that ended up busted or broke? Buy this one and you won’t ever have to buy one ever again. It has stainless hardware for durability and corrosion resistance, it’s insulated to help keep the water cool and the new rechargeable lithium pump is the best one on the market. This is my second one to keep at the back of the boat. My first one is 10 years old and other than slime and grime it’s still like brand new. Be sure to add you some foam feet if your boat doesn’t have fiberglass it will keep it secure in ruff water.

Very pleased with the cooler and aerator! Added foot pads for usage in a bay boat. The cooler with the bait net is very useful for shrimp, the cooler is very quiet (necessary for shallow water) and the added feet pads prevent sliding on the boat flooring. Couldn’t be mores satisfied!

Finally got a chance to use the new 30 QT Engel. I was impressed with its quality…well milled with everything fitting where it should. Strong, stout construction. Saw reviews where buyers complained about its weight. They should consider that a filled cooler will contain 50 lbs + of water. That is heavy but the box and handle held up perfectly. New more productive aerator kept a dozen and a half finger mullet alive for 3 days. Really liked the box net. Made bait retrieval easy. Seems like a quality product hopefully worth its price. Hats off to you guys at Engel Coolers!

This is a great cooler! I bought the 30qt Live Bait cooler and it fits perfectly on my kayak. And the aerator is terrific.

The 30qt engel plastic cover is thin and you can see where the plastic was stressed during shipment, most likely due to the inadequate packaging. The stress points go from the corners of the handle area to the rear corners of the lid. You would think the top of the cover would be thicker/more rigid to handle the weight of the cooler. Definitely will be keeping my receipt. The packaging was a box the same size as the cooler, the only protection was the width of the cardboard. While fine for bulk shipments to a retailer, not adequate for individual shipments. Other wise it is a very nice cooler and I like the rod holders on the side, they will be perfect for my ice fishing rods.

This cooler and aerator combo has been a game changer when it comes to keeping my minnows and gold fish alive. I have had 200 +- minnows in this cooler on these hot summer days and they last all day no problem with G juice added. Best part is if I don’t use all my bait I can bring them home plug in the aerator and with a water change at less every two days I can keep my minnows alive for daily or next weekend fishing trips. I highly recommend this cooler combo setup oh and let’s not forget the rod holds very convenient.

Wow I’m amazed! I used it for the first time this weekend. I put 3 dozen shrimp and 2 dozen pilchards in it and to my complete surprise only 3 pilchards died! It is extremely sturdy and easy to see and retrieve the bait.

Works great. Much better than a 5 gal bucket. Love the rod holders and the rechargeable aerator. I also ordered the cushion for the top. It’s nicely padded, will make a great temporary seat.

Bought this for my husband’s birthday. We took it out to the lake this past Memorial Day weekend. Amazing!! We fished the entire day and the last minnow was as active as the first. Water stayed cool! Such a great product. We even put it on a little rolling cart like luggage and wheeled it out to the dock since the path was too small for a full utility cart or beach cart. Most satisfied new purchase in several years. Worth it!! Easy set up, clean up etc. For us, best to use the G-Juice that people use in live wells. Bought bait the day before. Absolutely alive and active the entire next day. Cannot wait to be “Gone Fishin’” again real soon. I’ll be making additional purchases from Engel. Solid product line and superior customer service. Answered every question I asked. First rate company. Bought direct as the people in the retail stores are not as familiar. Excellent experience with direct purchase!!
