Product description
Proudly made in France, Staub has been the benchmark for premium cast iron cookware. Like all Staub fry pans, the Staub Traditional Skillet browns foods beautifully. Whether you’re searing chicken breasts, frying bacon, or caramelizing carrots, the Staub enameled black matte interior imparts texture, promoting exceptional browning and searing, without sticking. And because cast iron offers steady, even heat distribution, the temperature of the pan won't drop as you cook. Like a sauté pan and fry pan in one, our Traditional Skillet boasts all the features of a fry pan combined with higher, straighter sides, which means less splatter on the stovetop. Staub enameled cast iron cookware is the choice of the world's best chefs. With exceptional durability, it’s perfect for day-to-day use in both gourmet home kitchens and prestigious restaurants around the world. Each piece transitions beautifully from the kitchen to the table. Built to last a lifetime, these heirloom pieces can be passed from generation to generation.

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but you *can* make a restaurant-worthy dinner in 20 minutes—no stress, no fancy chef skills required. This creamy, garlicky Tuscan shrimp is proof! 10,000+ five-star reviews can't be wrong 🥩⭐ This is the easiest way to make restaurant-quality prime rib at home! Prime rib seems intimidating because it's expensive, but this foolproof recipe makes it simple. Just season it with garlic and herbs, roast it, and let it rest. The secret? A meat thermometer takes all the guesswork out! Way cheaper than a restaurant (I get mine at Costco) and tastes like a $200 steakhouse dinner. Perfect for Christmas, New Year's, or any special occasion. EASY PRIME RIB RECIPE: INGREDIENTS: 5 lbs prime rib roast (bone-in preferred) Sea salt and black pepper 2 tsp fresh rosemary 1 tsp fresh thyme 8 cloves garlic, minced ¼ cup olive oil HOW TO COOK: Bring meat to room temp (1 hour out of fridge) Tie roast with butcher's twine (linked! - keeps shape for even cooking) Mix herbs, garlic, salt, pepper, and olive oil - rub all over roast Place in cast iron skillet or roasting pan (linked! - Staub holds heat perfectly for that crust) Roast at 500°F for 15 minutes Reduce to 325°F and cook to internal temp with meat thermometer (linked! 🌡️): Rare: 120°F (10-12 min/lb) Medium rare: 130°F (13-14 min/lb) Medium: 140°F (14-15 min/lb) Remove 5-10 degrees BEFORE target (it keeps cooking!) Tent with foil and rest 30 minutes Slice against the grain THE SECRETS: ✨ Use a meat thermometer (linked! 🌡️) - $15 saves a $100 roast! ✨ Butcher's twine (linked!) keeps the roast's shape for even cooking ✨ Cast iron skillet (linked! - Staub) distributes heat evenly for perfect crust ✨ Remove from oven early - temp rises 5-10° while resting ✨ REST for 30 minutes or juices run out ✨ Bone-in = more flavor ✨ Buy 1 lb per person (Costco has best prices) This prime rib recipe is SO much cheaper than dining out and you control the quality. The high heat at the start creates a perfect crust, then slow roasting makes it tender and juicy. Serve with mashed potatoes and roasted vegetables for the ultimate holiday dinner! Beef tenderloin is the EASIEST fancy meal you'll ever make 🥩✨ Ready in just 30 minutes and tastes like it came from a $200 steakhous. perfect for Christmas dinner or any special occasion! This roasted beef tenderloin recipe is my absolute go-to for impressive meals because it's shockingly simple. Beef tenderloin is the most tender cut of beef (yes, this is where filet mignon comes from!), and when you sear it to create a golden crust then roast it for just 10-20 minutes, you get restaurant-quality results every single time. One reader said "One of the best recipes I ever used!" and another wrote "I can't wait to make this for Christmas dinner!" Why this beef tenderloin roast is THE BEST: It cooks in just 30 minutes total, the herb butter creates an incredible crust and adds amazing flavor, the orange-infused horseradish sauce is absolute perfection with the beef, and you can prep both sauces up to 2 weeks ahead. This is special occasion cooking made simple. it looks and tastes like you hired a private chef! BEEF TENDERLOIN RECIPE: BEEF: * 4-5 lb beef tenderloin, trimmed and tied * Salt and pepper * 2 Tbsp olive oil HERB BUTTER: * 5 Tbsp butter, softened * 5 cloves garlic, minced * 1 tsp fresh rosemary, minced * 1 tsp fresh thyme, minced ORANGE HORSERADISH SAUCE: * ¼ cup heavy cream * ¼ cup sour cream * ¼ cup white horseradish, drained * 1 Tbsp orange zest * ½ Tbsp fresh orange juice * ½ tsp Dijon mustard * Salt and pepper to taste INSTRUCTIONS: Optional Air Chill (10-24 hours ahead): 1. Pat meat dry with paper towels. 2. Season all sides with salt and pepper. 3. Place on wire rack over lined baking sheet. 4. Chill uncovered in fridge 10-24 hours. (This creates an amazing crust!) Make Sauces (Can prep 2 weeks ahead!): 5. Herb butter: Mix butter, garlic, rosemary, and thyme. Refrigerate until ready. 6. Horseradish sauce: Whip heavy cream to soft peaks. In separate bowl, mix sour cream, horseradish, orange zest, orange juice, Dijon, salt, and pepper. Fold in whipped cream. Refrigerate 30 minutes or up to 2 weeks. Cook Beef Tenderloin: 7. Remove roast from fridge 1-2 hours before cooking to come to room temp. 8. If you didn't air chill: Pat dry and season with salt and pepper now. 9. Preheat oven to 425°F. 10. Heat oil in large cast-iron pan over medium-high heat. 11. Sear tenderloin, rotating slowly, about 10 minutes total to create golden-brown crust on all sides. 12. Brush herb butter all over the meat. 13. Transfer pan to oven. Roast 10-20 minutes until it reaches desired temp: - Rare: Remove at 110-115°F (finishes at 115-120°F) - Medium-rare: Remove at 115-120°F (finishes at 120-125°F) - Medium: Remove at 125-130°F (finishes at 130-135°F) 14. Cover with foil and rest 15-20 minutes before slicing. 15. Remove twine and slice into 1-inch rounds. 16. Serve with orange horseradish sauce for dipping. PRO TIPS: ✨ Air chilling 10-24 hours ahead creates the BEST crust—don't skip if you have time! ✨ Remove from oven 5° before target temp—it keeps cooking while resting ✨ Let meat come to room temp before cooking for even doneness ✨ Use a meat thermometer—it's the only way to guarantee perfect doneness ✨ Don't skip the rest time—it redistributes the juices! ✨ Make both sauces up to 2 weeks ahead to save time ✨ Ask your butcher to trim and tie the tenderloin if you're not comfortable doing it This beef tenderloin roast is hands-down the most impressive yet easiest special occasion meal. The combination of the perfectly seared crust, tender pink interior, savory herb butter, and tangy orange horseradish sauce is absolutely restaurant-quality. Your guests will think you spent hours in the kitchen when it really only took 30 minutes! Perfect for Christmas dinner, New Year's Eve, anniversaries, or any time you want to impress without the stress. Recipe with step-by-step photos: Tastes Better From Scratch (Google it!)
