Still getting used to cooking in cast iron. The quality is very nice, but My first two cooking experiences with this were a little disappointing. Food stuck and I don’t think the cleaning went well. I would love any tips for cooking and cleaning with this.

I am so sad about this pan. Had high hopes but after receiving it, washing it then using it 1st time i had massive trouble cleaning it. Still now after cleaning it several times it is still not back to normal. I doubt i will use it again. Feel badly about spending money on something i used once. Have another pan from RR that i love and use so much.

I am a frequent user of cast iron cookware, and I have used this Rachael Ray cast iron skillet for a few weeks. It is a heavy duty pan that heats evenly. It came pre-seasoned, but my first omelette in the pan stuck a bit. After I re-seasoned the pan a few times, I had better luck. I like that it has pour spouts on both sides and a "helper" handle opposite the regular handle. I use silicone covers on both handles, and then I don't need an oven mitt to lift the hot pan. The colored enamel has not chipped, but it did become discolored on the bottom even though I have not used it on a setting beyond medium on my electric stove. It is heavy, but no more so than my other cast iron pieces.

First and foremost, this dutch oven is very heavy. The large size makes it useable for so many different dishes but the weight of it may deter some from using it. It is important to remember that it is cast iron so the weight is part of the package. The finish is smooth and I have had zero issues with anything sticking. As with most cast iron, do not put it in the dishwasher, but clean up is very easy and the more you use it the more seasoned it will be making it continuously easier and easier to clean. This dutch oven is beautifully colored, true to color in photo but much more vibrant and fit easily into my oven. All in all this is a great piece to add to your kitchen.

This pot is very heavy but cooks evenly and holds heat well. It's great for cooking on the stove or in the oven. The color choices for Rachael Ray's cookware are among the most popular decorating colors trending today too. This pot should last for many years with the proper care. The only negative about the pot to me is It's weight. Luckily my husband does the cooking and he has the muscles needed for the job.

I got this a few weeks ago. Let me start off by saying it has a great size! It's so big which is great for us a family of 6 just the size we needed. You can make meals ahead of this and pop it in the oven, make bread, stews, everything can be cooked in this pot. It's made from cast iron which holds in the heat and we found that it induces heat higher too way better than any other pot I have owned. It's coated in enamel seamlessly. No chipping, discoloring or rust all all and we have used it hard the past few weeks because we have loved it so much. It has a unique underside of the lid that has drip points for catching steam it's an all around great pot. It's a little on the heavy side you just have to use a muscle. It's seems very durable and I'm sure this will continue to be a great cast iron to keep in our family for many years to come! Overall we are extremely happy with this purchase!

I have always wanted a Dutch Oven for my kitchen, and I'm thrilled to finally have one. The Rachael Ray 6.5 Dutch Oven in red is beautiful and amazing quality. I decided to keep in on my stove top to show it off. It's too pretty to.store away when it's not being used. It is very heavy cast iron, so I can see it lasting many, many years. I love that it can go from stove top to Oven, so I am using less dishes to make meals. It gives food that wonderful yet unique cast iron taste. It washes up great, but be careful it is very heavy. I can't wait to cook another family dinner in my Rachael Ray Dutch Oven.

What a great dutch oven! Nice design and I really like the color that is scratch and chip resistant. The meals I have cooked so far were evenly cooked. I also love the easy clean-up and that it is rust-resistant. It was easy to clean and the pre-season is great. I haven't had to re-season.

Loved this cast iron dish in red , it’s enameled which makes it easier to use and prevents from rusting . The main feature that I liked about it is that it can used in the oven as well as cook top . I even used it as a serving dish after cooking . It’s easy to clean as well. It’s a little too heavy but I guess all cast iron dishes or pans are heavy . Overall it’s a good product for me.

The Dutch oven is extremely great quality, and it's already pre-seasoned! I made Birria and was able to sear the meat in the Dutch oven, then slow cook it. It came out delicious and very tender! I would like to note that it's on the bit on the heavy side, so definitely watch for that especially when taking it out of the oven. Besides it being heavy, it has cooked, baked, and cleaned beautifully. I always remember to add a little bit of oil after rinsing it, but the preseason really helps and stays after the first couple of uses.

The Rachael Ray cast iron dutch oven is great. I like how my food doesn't stick because it's pre- seasoned already and that I don't have to worry about it rusting so easily. This Dutch Oven cooks nicely and evenly in my oven. I'm glad that you can use all kinds of utensils as my kids like to use whatever they have available and don't remember some products scratch easily. This cast iron is very easy to clean and take care of. Keeps my food nice and warm for a good amount of time when needed. After time if needed its very easy to re- season your cast iron and also tells you how to do this specifically. I love cooking my chicken and stews in this dutch oven, very nicely made and a good value to last a long time. Can use in oven and stove top so multi usage and can withstand high temperatures. Very satisfied with the rachael ray cast iron dutch oven.
