The kit came broken. The liquid that was meant to be inside the vial was spilled out of it. I sent an email to their customer service and never received a response. Very disappointed.

I was so impressed with this test. I sent it out on the 12th, and I received results on the 25th. My dog was 2 breeds that I expected and 2 I didn't, so that was nice to find out. I like that it tells you what to expect from the breeds and their possible relatives.

We got one of these for our mystery mutt who just looked like a generic puppy. With no idea what to expect on how big he'd get I finally caved, 70% cattle dog, 20% pit, 10% German shepherd. It was a big help and a pretty good prediction as he's grown. I even think we've found a grand-dog in the relative finder. We're now getting a second test for last year's mystery mutt was supposed to be a cattle dog rott mix according to the shelter but ended up being about half that size. We shall see...

We ordered the test kit the week before we had to say goodbye to our beloved 14 year old Raina, and knew we wouldn't get the results back in time, but we did still get the results back early (a few weeks later), coincidentally on the anniversary of the day I found her at the shelter which was an unplanned but very welcome surprise and a great way to celebrate her life. The results themselves were very unexpected, but after the initial shock wore off, they make sense and seem feasible given the popular breeds in the city she was adopted from.
