I love the moroccanoil, so I thought since the oil was great that the purple shampoo would work well on my blonde colored treated hair; however, that was not the case this make my hair extremely hard. I then realized the purple shampoo is for natural blonde hair and not color treated . I still like moroccanoil but this one didn’t do it for me.

I love this shampoo when my blonde is feeling a little dull. I don't use it more than once a week or every other week but when I do, it gives my blonde a great boost and brightens me up. The scent is amazing and I always pair it with the conditioner.

This is the best purple shampoo 💜 Im approaching my mid 40's and fighting a losing battle with going grey, its especially noticeable at the crown of my head, but I've been a blonde thanks to being heavily foiled for about a decade now and as my natural hair is more salt and pepper and less brunette during the last 3ish years I really notice where I need a good purple shampoo once a week now and this one is the only one that doesn't give my that khaki color in my blonde that others can give from overusing cheap purple shampoo. It does also help lift my natural salty colored hair to a lighter white and not so grayish looking. Ive tried other brands and none are as powerful as this one. I do have alot of red undertones in my hair so I dont have to worry about overtoning and turning my hair purple as much as others though.

This product really helps my highlights stay in longer and tones down any brassiness that may be there from having the highlights done. My hair always feels very clean and smells amazing. My head doesn’t itch and I feel like I get a good deep clean each time I shampoo.

Best purple shampoo ever used! Keeps my platinum icy blonde hair a beautiful shade with no brassiness! I mix it sometimes equal parts with my Moroccanoil moisturizing shampoo. Love all my Moroccanoil products!
