I highly recommend this . No it’s not really a gun safe but more a secure gun cabinet. It holds Firearms well and has provisions for them and securely locks them up. It is not fireproof. I do recommend putting some kind of carpet sound under her inside, but It’s super nice and for the price it was a great deal.
