The shape is reminiscent of the classic American Optical aviator of the 1960s. Flattering on rounder faces. Can you see in the dark with them? Maybe. Musician friend thinks they were built for gigs. Stay put even when you're rocking out.

2 stars because these are very cute looking. HOWEVER. . . . . the way they feel is exactly like a cheap pair of sunglasses I got at the bank for free last month. And the lenses pop out SO easily, they pretty much pop out every time I got to clean the lenses (and I clean my glasses gently). I love the way they look but the quality is just NOT there.

I liked the frames but the lenses themselves could be a smidge darker.
The gradient from dark to light could also just be a little lower. I feel like the light part is too high.
Make the same frames but with a brown lense like you have in the normal aviator sunglasses.

Love the shape and tint. The soft purple hue makes a great all round lenses. I like the large frame, it doesn't let that halo in like with a smaller frame. But not so large that you feel like Boss Hog or Elvis. They're great for that 70s vibe that ain't tear drops. First pair of shades that make me want a harley.
