My girlfriend and I both loved angels dream. If you want a staple black tea with some great floral flavor, give it a try.

I steeped 3 grams in 12 ounces of 212 degree water for 4 minutes. I haven’t yet had a tea with this flavor profile! It’s a lovely smooth black and green tea blend with lots of sweet maple flavor and a bit of juicy blackberry in the background with no astringency. This would make a nice afternoon dessert tea and would be delicious with a little milk or cream and sugar. I would love to have this with a croissant or some sugar cookies! I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys sweet dessert-style teas.

Im a Tea lover. This looked like it was the most popular tea on here. Got it for the hype and it did not stand up to the reputation. Got a few different flavors and non wowed me. Will not be reordering. 2 stars since this was the best of the worst if that helps any.

What made me try this tea, is the fact that it has blackberries in it. I love anything with berries!!! This is a very soothing tea. Thank You "Whistling Kettle"

I had the opportunity to try Angel's Dream from Whistling Kettle today,
The brewed tea exhibited a deep golden hue and emitted a floral aroma. In anticipation of the vanilla notes and creamy texture imparted by the cornflower petals, I chose to complement it with 1% organic milk and raw sugar. The flavor profile revealed floral characteristics, caramel undertones, and faint suggestions of blackberry.

🫖 Whistling Kettle
🍃 Angels Dream
This black and green tea blend has a natural sweetness with notes of sweet brown sugar or maple and berry flavors. It went perfectly with a slice of lemon/blueberry toast with a blueberry jam I recently ordered from a small blueberry farm in North Carolina. Absolutely perfect for this Spring afternoon here in Iowa with a slight chill in the air. It’s a bit gloomy but this combination cheered me right up and immediately brewed another cup to try it iced. This is a blend that is fantastic hot or cold and I will be putting it on my reorder list. Today it was brewed at 200 degrees for 5 mins. I often brew my black teas slightly below boiling and with the addition of green tea in the blend was a bit nervous to even brew at this temp but it worked out nicely.
Ingredients: Black tea, Green tea, Cornflower petals, Mallow petals, Natural flavors (organic compliant)

The featured sampling today is Whistling Kettle's Angel's Dream. This blend consists of black tea, green tea, mallow petals, cornflower petals, and natural flavor. Upon opening the bag the scent is delightful and sweet. The infusion exhibits a striking color and a robust, smooth quality. I tried it hot with no milk or sugar. Flavor notes include sweetness, a hint of nuttiness, and creaminess. Serving it iced would also be a viable option. Notably, the tea's inherent sweetness obviated the need for sugar.

This is a gorgeous blackberry black tea blend!
I was able to try this three ways: hot, hot with milk and cold-brewed. When brewed hot, this is a very delicious fruity tea. I get a hint of the maple note here, but it isn’t too overpowering, and it honestly tastes like caramel to me! When I added a splash of milk, it really makes this tea shine. Both the maple and blackberry are intensified. This one is super smooth, too!
I was also able to cold brew this tea with two perfect tea-spoons worth of tea. I had this one on a pretty hot day, and it was so refreshing. I taste more of the blackberry this way, and way less of the maple.
I highly recommend this tea!

This tea has me puzzled. Every time I smell the tea leaves I get something different in it's aroma. First it was a slight citrus. Then floral with a hint of pepper. Then it was honey with a sweet blackberries. I went on not the first taste confused and it excited to see what flavors play through. I brewed the tea at the recommend 4.5 min. It is a golden orange color. The first sip was lovely floral with a slight sweetness. This tea is a fantastic summer tea that is complex and a delight for any day, hot or over ice.

Hot Brew: The black tea stands out most, giving it a malty base that’s solid but not too heavy. The blackberry and maple are there, but pretty subtle—not overly sweet, just enough to add interest. It’s smooth and easy to drink. I enjoyed it with a splash of cream, too.
Cold Brew: Cold brewing brings out more of the fruit. The blackberry note becomes clearer, and everything feels a bit softer and more rounded. It’s refreshing without losing the structure from the black tea.
Overall, it’s an enjoyable balanced blend.

Angels Dream from The Whistling Kettle is a black and green tea blends with mallow petals, cornflower petals and natural flavors.
Its flavor id described as having “maple/blackberry flavor notes”. Surprising given its ingredients.
I decided to prepare this blend two different ways. As a hot tea I prepared mine in 200 degree water and let it steep for three minutes with resulted in a chestnut colored steep with golden amber highlights. Quite honestly it’s a beautiful brew when steeped.
Flavor wise it is has a surprising flavor to it with toasted notes of the maple mentioned, though I also picked up on some caramelized notes as well that ended with a slight sweetness. I tried it with a splash of sweet cream and then in another cup a splash of vanilla cream. I liked the vanilla cream better as it made those toasty flavors more prominent.
Then I decided to try it as a cold brew and allowed it to steep about five hours. The tea leaves dancing with the Cornflowers Petals in the water was quite hypnotic.
As a cold brew the blend had more of a pronounced floral note flavor rather than a toasty presence that appeared in the morning cup of hot tea. I ended up adding vanilla cold foam and really enjoyed it over ice.
I can’t say which I preferred as each was unique in its own right. This blend is definitely original and will provide a variety of flavors dependent on how you prepare it.

Tea Review time! Today’s review company is Whistling Kettle, the yummy tea is Angels Dream.
This is a delightful blend of black tea, green tea, cornflower petals, mallow petals, and natural flavors. The result is a smooth, delicate infusion—absolutely perfect for a morning sip.
The black and green teas are blended so well, the boldness of the black is mellowed, while the green is rounded out nicely. The addition of cornflower and mallow petals brings a subtle floral note, adding an extra layer of relaxation to every cup. I tasted hints of maple and sweetness, making a wonderful treat.
I had my first cup just the way it was freshly brewed. I couldn’t resist and had a second cup with honey and milk.

Ingredients - black tea green tea mallow petals cornflower petals natural flavor
I steeped this one at 185F for 3 minutes it brews up to a goldeny orange color, this tea is fantastic, it is bold and robust. It is strong but smooth. Theres a nice mapley flavor and a bit of nuttyness, its a little bit dry and creamy. Im drinking it hot but this is one that would probably also be great iced. Its not quite a full on dessert tea but with the creamy sweetness this is a fantastic tea option for an afternoon pick me up

As a maple black tea, it's great. I couldn't taste blackberry at all, and the maple is not very strong, just a hint. I enjoyed the entire sample, but I probably won't order again.

This is balanced and slightly sweet, one of my morning favorites.

The tea is good. As good as English Tea Store. It is less expensive by $7.00. It is still way too expensive, and I'll have to find an alternative or go without

Pretty tea but the cornflower petals or mallow petals just dont taste right in it, not sure which is the culprit. They give somewhat a weedy earthy taste I dont feel really fits in a black tea. I guess some people like it but i lean towards liking sweeter flavors and this is not that tea.

This is my first time trying the Angel's Dream tea. I was looking for a change from plain black tea, wanting more flavor layers and aroma. This tea is delightful and is just what I was lo Iooking for. I would definitely recommend giving it a try!
