As with most scanners I imagine there is a learning curve. after a couple attempts on different items I was able to get a great quality scan. Scaled it down and printed a keychain version of it to see how the detail came through. For the price point the scanner is quite amazing. Great detail, colors are slightly under toned but that may be due to my lighting environment.

I'm sure it's great if you have the prefect setup. When reviewing the product for purchase I didn't see that it required an Nvidia GPU. that really needs to be very prominent. Thankfully I have one computer that does and runs windows but the scanner doesn't work well on it at all so mostly it's a paper weight for me now. I do have a linux system with a better GPU but there is no linux software available. That needs to change ASAP. Linux software would open a wide range of systems to the scanner. There also needs to be wider support for various hardware configurations. AMD systems are pretty much excluded from use. While I really want this to work it just isn't working for me!

I was pleasently surprised how easy it was to scan the owl and print it out. From unboxing to printing an almost exact duplicate in under 2 hours.
