This particular ac blows cold for about 10 minutes and then only blows hot air. Installation is correct, tried 3x on 3 separate days. Yes, I could return it, if I want to find a box, box it all back up, take it to UPS, etc etc. disappointing to have to do all that, so I’ll just chalk it up as a loss, and buy one from Amazon or a local store instead. Would have been nice when I reached out for them just to review the issue and help me fix it, or send me a new one or give me a credit.

Well it does get a room cool, however it’s a struggle when it’s 106 outside. I would have given it a 5 BUT the air only blows one direction and the shutter only goes up or down. It would have been so nice and less noise. Other than that it’s fine. Now I just have to wait and see what the electric bill is gonna be like.

This portable AC is a game changer. I was surprised at how good it turned out to be. There’s even an indicator for when you need to drain the water. I only got the 8,000 BTU but it’s enough to cool the master’s bedroom. I can’t review yet on how energy efficient it is since i have only got it for a week, but it says in the label it’s energy efficient so i’m hoping it is. Easy to install, unfortunately I settled for the 50” window slide cover and my window is 70” so a little cutout of foam at the top of my window was needed to seal it. Works great and keeps my room nice and cool! The water outlet is a bit of an inconvenience but just a 10L bucket to catch the water does the trick for it. Overall definitely a buy if you don’t have AC in your house!
