I was a bit skeptical using an open top bag but I love this thing. Look what it can hold! Two A5 journals, an A6 chunky journal, and more books—and the Pouch!! My fountain pens sit nicely on the outside for a quick swap when writing. Since it’s heavy when full it doesn’t haul well over my shoulder, but the straps seems a decent length either way. I’m no artist, but I absolutely love this bag! It’s my daily driver and I love the texture of heavy-weighted natural fabric. I especially love carrying this bag to the gym as it is machine washable and fits so many things - 1L bottle, 3 towels, gym clothes, an umbrella, and everything else that I normally bring out.
If they had a larger version that fits a 13” laptop, I would purchase it in a heartbeat.

I received two bags and I opened the smaller pink bag off- camera. This green bag I opened with the camera rolling and these are my genuine reactions to the spectacular quality of these bags. As you can clearly tell, I do love some pockets, and these have so many. The material is heavy duty and the bottom is extremely durable. This is such a beautifully crafted bag with so many uses.
