The rack holds twelve chairs all hanging on four extended bars welded to a 2.5"W bar with only two lag bolts. That's way too much weight and two of the extended bars are already allow chairs to slight forward away from the wall. This needs to have much heavier construction. Additionally there should be an extended piece of metal down below each attachment point, this would spread the downward pressure of the chair weight and lesson the chance of wall damage. While the rack is working I am not confident about the racks continued ability to hold the weight.

This rack is solid and compact. It hold many chairs in a small space. Due to the size of my chairs, it only holds 12, but that’s fine. I’m going to get another one—it’s such a space saver, and for a reasonable price!
The only minor negative is , as mentioned in other reviews, the chairs on one side do hang slightly unevenly. It bothers me, but I don’t go into our garage that frequently.
