Reasonably sturdy. Suggest starting with part b side shelf bars. I've added an ikea shelf atop & beneath cover for storage of hats-usually soft (photo). Cover bottom ties detach easily (photo). Left off back footings caps to have rack lean into the wall (cali earthquake concern). SHELF HEIGHT-My big feet, mid-height shoes fit easily if end caps are switched-gain spacial height (photos). WIDTH-3 pairs fit if alternated (photo). Generally, shoe boxes fit better sideways versus front to back (photo). Overall good deal for $$ great for college bound shoe divas. This was great for my son’s bathroom. The bottom trey doesn’t slide well with heavy item on it. It is plastic. Great for the price and certainly cleaned up our counter tops!

It’s not bad but it is not a 100. The small water way works but I still have to tilt the tray for the water to drain. This does give me more space to hold my wet dishes n utensils so I don’t have to wash and dry every minute of the day. I’m keeping it for that convenience really.
