I’m changing my 1 star for a 5 star and the reason why.
I ordered DR.ÖTEK Metal Detector for Adults, Professional Metal Detectors Waterproof with 10" IP68 Coil, Larger LCD Display, High Accuracy. But I was sent the MT6 Pro pinpointer. I reached out to TIKTOK and they explained what happened but the only thing they could do was refund. So, I had to agree to that. The next morning I checked and on my refund request it stated “refund denied”. I was so pissed 😡 I reached out to DR.ÖTEK by email and explained the situation. Not only did they give me my refund and told me I didn’t need to send the pinpointer back, but I came home today with a package and it was the metal detector I was supposed to have gotten to begin with. Which, they did not have to do. So, the only right thing left for me to do was to change my review to a 5 star for the excellent (silent) customer service. I originally bought this as a gift for my grandson so haven’t opened yet but, he’s taking it to the beach at the end of this month (July 2026) when we get back I will update with how it took to put together and if we find any treasures. Thank you DR.ÖTEK for changing my experience in such a beautiful and positive way!!
