I know some videos showed people having no issues, but the unit we received had a difficult time keeping the tube securely connected to the plastic piece that attaches to the window. It kept falling out instead of staying tightened securely like it seemed to in the videos, so we ended up having to use duct tape to keep it in place. We’ve had to re-secure the duct tape a few times since purchasing it, although it could be that we didn’t get it secured tightly enough. Overall, it works well for keeping a small room cool, but the vent connection has been a bit of a hassle.

Very easy to install I did it by myself although I would recommend having help and not throwing out the instructions like I did now I can’t figure out how to change it from Celsius to Fahrenheit or how to figure out where to get the app but that’s my problem.
