Hybrid Racing shifter cables are a performance upgrade replacement for stock OEM cables. The solid rod ends, permanently lubricated core, spherical bearings, and aluminum end links give the Hybrid Racing cables a firmer, tighter feel over OEM cables, resulting in fewer missed shifts and a more connected feel to the chassis. The cable is heat resistant up to 225*F and has a max bend radius of 5" (for optimum life). We created a cable that is stronger and improves driving and shifting performance.

Other notable features of the Hybrid Racing cables are spherical bearings, stainless steel push rods, and upgraded stainless steel swivel support tubes (OEM is plastic), which are known to break on the OEM cables. All rod ends and mounting bushings are CNC machined 6061 aluminum, then black anodized before being laser etched with the Hybrid Racing logo for flair. These are NOT like other cheap reproduction shifter cables that are available. Each piece of this product has been engineered, tested, and verified for the best quality.

Yes! The aluminum bushings simplify the installation, but more importantly, they remove another plastic part that tends to flex on the OEM cables, leading to a sloppy feeling shift. You will need to transfer all OEM grommets, seals or brackets to these cables before you install them.

The kit has two shifter cables, each with two cotter pins and clips for the shifter end. You will reuse your OEM center bracket and cable seal.
