This is a nice cable and adapter, did what I needed easily. Installing the MC4 connectors was simple, and the quality of the cable is decent.One end of the cable comes with the MC4 connectors preassembled, the other end is bare and the kit comes with everything you need to install the MC4 connectors, except a crimp/pliers.MC4 assembly is very easy, so much so that I kind of wish they did not pre-assemble one side. In my use case the connector genders were inverse of what I needed on the pre-assembled side, so I had to chop their pre-assembled side, and use the included MC4 connectors to reverse the genders. If neither side was pre-assembled, I could have not wasted those 2 MC4 connectors.If you are just extending a run you probably won't run into the problem I did, and it isn't that big of a deal, just a little wasteful.Overall I would still recommend this cable, the quality seems to be very good, but only the test of time will tell for sure.

I intend to use this for a RV solar panel install. Cables and connector look to be of good quality, and fit tightly on the panel that will be used. 12 GA was more than adequate for this setup, and the flexibility of the cables was fine to get it around an RV install. One end is open and a set of connectors and tools come with the kit.Pretty Nice.
