60-80 GSM papers are light, economical, and suitable for most writing or black-and-white printing.

Many home printers accept up to 200 GSM. Check your manual and use the rear feed tray for thicker stock.

Heavier coated sheets reduce ink absorption and produce sharper photos with less bleed.

Multiply GSM by 0.67 to estimate lb weight, or divide lb by 0.67 to find GSM.
