It's a bit quicker to play than the other Exploding Kittens Burrito games but still a lot of fun. The advantage cards add a nice twist to the game and some lively discussions on which ones to take way from the teams.
I'd say it's a good game for those 8 years old and up. I'm happy to add this game to the rotation for game nights.

We had a great time playing this game. It's a fairly fast playing game that took about 15minutes to complete. We have somewhat limited space but that just added to the chaos. It's a good time with family and friends.

Zombie Burrito utilizes the fun gameplay loop of the Throw Throw franchise, while justifying its creation with fun new cards (shields & socks!) and a team-based twist. The undead theme could have been a skin on the exact same game, but the Exploding Kittens team proves once again that they care more about unique, party game experiences than most other board game developers. Zombie Burrito has instantly become a mainstay in my party game rotation and I can’t wait to play it again!

the zombie game was a fun tag game even if the digital instructions didn’t work. We know that a copy of a set of 3 cards with the same color gets canceled out since it is the same but does that count for cards that are a different color but have the same ability do they cancel each other out still? Other than that the game was really fun, wish it came with an extra burrito for the extra burrito card for the survivors, the zombie team won , even though the survivors won one game it was a challenge at times. The zombies have some overpowered abilities but only a couple were played in certain games due to how fast someone played the battle cards. The survivors cards can be useful depending on which cards you played

We really like Throw Throw Burrito, but Zombie Burrito is even better. We really enjoyed having teams and the strategery that this game brings to the concept of Throw Throw Burrito. It’s wacky, a ton of fun, and even the less coordinated throwers have a chance to win - it is a great group game!

The different abilities available for the Zombies and the Survivors really change the game, it's way funnier this way !

My kids and I absolutely loved the original "Throw Throw Burrito," but this version takes the craziness to a whole new level!
First off, it's much more balanced, making it a fairer game for everyone. Plus, the "Zombies vs. Survivors" theme and all the awesome power-ups make it feel like you're playing a video game—but in real life!
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I was super excited when I saw this timely addition to the series. The gameplay didn’t disappoint!

This was a great new version of throw throw burrito! Our family played the original many times when the kids were younger, so it was great to get a chance to play this version. There were four of us playing, and it generated a lot of laughs. I think it would be even more fun with 6, the mayhem would be that much greater! All in all a really fun way to spend a few 10-minute rounds!

It was a fun game with chaotic actions happening a bunch of times. a few confusing parts with how the cards work and definitely a bit more of an advantage to the Zombie players and a small advantage to the survivor players. The cards were a bit confusing when there are 2 cards with the same function but look completely different, do they cancel each other out or we can play them both is a big question we had. definitely challenging when there are only 3 players since the zombies get the extra player no matter what. a way to have extra burrito's for the survivors when they get the extra burrito card if they don't have another burrito game or a burrito shield when they draw the shield card.

The game was very interactive and fun and I really enjoyed it! It’s great that it’s simple, straight to the point, and interactive. As we have to throw burritos, have some space in the area to play!

Fast-moving and fun for the whole family! The only downside (according to our 12-year-old) is that a round doesn’t last long enough. We older folk disagreed. The Advantages and Disadvantages mean that every round is at least slightly different, which is a nice change from the standard Throw Throw Burrito. We’ll be playing it often!

We played Zombie Kittens on game night, laughed and had so much fun it now on permanent rotation on our game nights. Love everything from exploding kittens!

Chaos. Part card game, part quick-draw dodgeball with burritos. Easy to learn and start playing. Cards are typical of exploding kittens: goofy, creative, and hilarious. Remove all fragile belongings from the play area.

Beautiful chaos. A mix of cards and quick-draw dodgeball, but with burritos. Make sure all fragile items are secured. Easy to learn with clever, goofy, funny cards typical of exploding kittens.

Played it last week at a friend's apartment and it was good! The Zombie team vs the Human team was a fun take on Throw Throw Burrito. It was only lacking a little bit in what we've enjoyed in the past for the thoughtfulness in the design, and that is rules / recommendations for the small space variant. Like I mentioned, we were playing in an apartment, and it's one thing to do the "behind the back" variant when you can take out almost anyone at the table, but it gets a bit crazy when everyone around the table is jumping over eachother to get at the burritos and people basically boxing eachother out for them.
TL;DR - It's a fun, new, team-oriented iteration of the game, but even less-suited for small spaces now.

Sometimes it’s hard to find games for everyone in my family to be able to play and enjoy, but the mechanics of this one are a great fit! Also, the physicality of Zombie Burrito is a fun change up to sitting at the table the whole time!

If you enjoy a fast-paced, physical game, with less strategy and more speed and fun, this is an amazing game for you. For the house of three zombie-like adults, one disabled, playing as the low end of the recommended player numbers, it was... ok. But that's 100% because we're not the target audience, not because the game itself is bad. I'd *really* like to see an expanded version of this as a party game, with like, 4-12 players, because I think it'd be great with larger teams. But it's still a very solid game overall, and I'm excited to gift it to friends that will enjoy it more.
