Used it as journal prompts AND played with a friend who also was going through a tough time... reflecting on what happened through this has helped me a lot moving on and moving forward.

my friend and i both got broken up with in the same time frame, so we played these cards together. it was a little awkward at first but eventually we found not only that the prompts helped us channel our thoughts but also made it easier to tell each other about what was hurting. this set makes you think about things you’d otherwise be afraid or ashamed to consider. oftentimes, you’re taken far away from the original question, but that’s okay. this game allows you to figure out for yourself how to heal. it’s not a magic solution to moving on from a breakup. you might not feel any better. but at the very least, you’ll understand yourself, and you’ll understand your situation. it’ll help you realize that you’re gonna be okay. playing by yourself, they also work as great journal prompts. but i find that it’s much more fulfilling to tell someone about what’s on your mind. anyone who’s willing to step out of their comfort zone and think introspectively in a unique way should try this game.

I really appreciate the way using these has helped me refocus on building a better "me" and understanding what pieces of my relationship I wanted to bring with me and which ones I want to leave behind.
