I scoured the internet for hours in search of a good house filtration system in leu of our tankless hot water heater purchase. Yes, the old tank water heater was on its last leg so we decided to change things up and man oh, man! The biggest thing we have noticed was that slick feeling in the shower where it does not feel like we have rinsed off all the soap. What no one talks about is the feeling AFTER getting out of the shower. When we just used city water I would get out of the shower and 5 minutes later my skin would feel 'dry' like I needed to use some lotion. Not anymore! The second thing the wife and I noticed was that the water does not taste 'salty' at all we could'nt tell a difference. We have a KitchenAid fridge with filtered water in the door for drinking, I can't tell a difference between the filtered water from the fridge or the kitchen faucet. Finally, we did notice that our clothes feel softer when we pulled them out of they dryer. Same detergent, fabric sheets washer settings that we had used on the city water. Towels seem softer and fluffy. Do bear in mind we have only had the Harmony unit in use for 4 days now. Our Oklahoma City water has a hardness of 9 grains. I would suggest getting a carbon filter unit in addition to the softener. Setup is simple and straight forward use the flex hoses from Lowe's or Home Depot. Don't try to plumb it direct. If you should ever have to move the softener for any reason it will be much easier & you won't risk causing any leaks. We placed this unit where the old hot water tank was along with the Fortitude Lite system with the carbon filter tank and sediment filter. While installing I thought that the instructions stating that 8-12 wraps of teflon tape on a plastic fitting was excessive so I used 4 wraps. Naturally it leaked, I know it was my fault. Easy fix, follow the directions. I removed the old teflon tape and did 10 wraps and no leaks. Programming the system was straight forward. The interface seemed to have more options than some of the competition. Now, this is 2025 so do bear in mind that Aquasure does not have a wi-fi interface that one could setup and monitor on a smartphone. There are systems on the market that do have the capability but you'll pay dearly for it. 4x more than an Aquasure unit; belive me I know I've seen me look for it. From a cost/benefit Aquasure wins this handsdown. That being said, its not perfect and nothing ever is. If there is a power outage the unit will forget how many gallons is needed for the next regeneration. Just one more thing to mess with during a power outage, just like resetting the oven clock, microwave clock you get the idea. The Harmony unit does not use near the salt that I was expecting to use. My parents still have the old tan Sears special from the 90s that uses salt like its going out of style and now they want one of these units as well as 2 of my co-workers. I wished someone would have told me about Aquasure and saved me many hours online.

Bought the 48K grain unit. Had an operational problem after initial start up, but contacted support and their response was immediate and courteous. They took care of the problem to my full satisfaction without hesitation. The unit is now operating fine, after a week or so, and has my very hard water, after testing, down to one grain per gallon.

Was skeptical at first but noticably better water quality with this 48000 grain softener. Followed directions to the letter and purchased pellet style salt for it. Work amazing even did a pool test strip test and seen the test strip go from deep purple (500+ hardness) to vibrant blue (0 hardness) before and after install. Im happy with this system.

I got the 64K size to replace a 48K unit with a lousy 2 digit interface. I like that this one has many functionalities programmable and a decent interface to show the count down of the gallons until the next regeneration. The formula for determining how many gallons to use before regenerating seems a bit off. I've had to lower the number of gallons twice but with trial and error I'll find the right number and should be fine from there.UPDATE: After lowering the number of gallons between regenerations many times, I finally figured out the problem. I have relatively low water pressure at 65 psi. This is a factor when the final phase of the regeneration cycle (bf for brine fill) refills the brine tank to set up for the next regeneration. The factory default of 12 minutes is not enough water into the brine tank at my water pressure for this tank size. This is one of the settings you are recommended not to change, however if you have low water pressure and a large tank (I have the 64K large tank), you will need to adjust that parameter. I set mine to 22 minutes and I was then able to set the number of gallons between regenerations much closer to the calculated value using the formula in the instructions book. It took some trial and error testing but I think I finally got the right settings.

Wow what a difference. My water is soft and I am a happy! The install is straightforward and requires an hour or 2. I built a bypass in addition to the one that is built into the unit. Takes extra time and money but is worth it. 100% recommend. I did have a broken resin tank cap and some resin leaked out. It would be nice to have a foam insert in the box to avoid that. Shipping companies don't treat the boxes well. That would be my only complaint. I called customer service they were very nice and informative. I measured and I had plenty of resin no need for replacement. All in all great product.

I ordered it on Dec. 20th of last year supposedly delivery between Dec. 30th and Jan. 2nd of this year, it showed up at my front door 2 days later, I'm not even a prime member! I decided to order the 64000 grain unit, I believe my old unit was a 48000 grain, the installation was easy basically just shut off the main water supply and swap out the old one (installation instructions is very well written), if you're mechanically inclined and follow the installation instructions you will have no problem with it, over all the system works very well so far, it feels great to have soft water again. The following are some notes that hopefully you'll find them helpful.1, First of all, once the digital control valve is installed on to the resin tank it's roughly 60" tall for the 64000 grain unit, make sure that you have enough room before you start, I have a cabinet installed right where the resin tank goes, so I have to move the cabinet.2, The yoke connection for both inlet and outlet is 1" for the 64000 grain unit, I'm not sure if the 48000 grain unit yoke connection is 3/4", since the water supply line of my house is 3/4" I have to get what plumber called 3/4" to 1" NPT bushing, which I have a hell of a time finding one neither Lowe's or Home Depot stock it, fortunately I was able get them at a plumbing supply house near by.3, On step 2 after you installed the bypass valve on to the control head make sure the O ring didn't get pinch, otherwise you'll have water spraying everywhere, fortunately there are two spare O rings came with the unit, after taking it apart and replaced it no more water leaks, so just be careful don't be a dummy like me.

We are on a well, within a week we lost water pressure only to find out that the pre filter was clogged already. I talked with support and they were a HUGE help. I find this softener to be great with well water. Highly recommend!

This is a wonderful product and it really makes a huge difference in our house where we have country hard water. However, we did run into one little glitch and it had to do with the hooking up of the item. It was running well for several weeks and then suddenly blew out and water went everywhere. Just make sure it's hooked up to the right place correctly. You need someone who knows what they're doing to help you if you don't. Wish I could be more specific, but the it's a reason why it happened lol.

This is an initial short term review. Will update later after it has cycle a couple of times.Summary: Easy to install, works well.Important note: The unit was shipped in two shipments, but Amazon only shows one tracking number. I contacted customer support and they quickly responded, indicating the other part would arrive in the next day or two.Review:My old all in one water softener died on me a while back. Purchased this two piece unit since most experts said that they last longer since the electronics are not directly over the salt container.The installation was a snap. I had to buy , two foot hoses to make the connection to the now taller tank, but it really was easy (the connectors are 1" FIP, just FYI). The resin tank is pretty heavy for one person, but manageable.The instructions were clear and easy to follow. The only part that confused me a little bit is that during the first start after the install, the bypass should have the "out" (to house) valve closed. Which makes sense as there may be impurities from the factory that need to be flushed.It has not recycled yet, but it has run the initial flush. By default it is pre-set to cycle at 1,000 gallons.Our water tastes very good. Without the softener, the water tastes a little thick. Now the water is surprisingly close to the taste of our 5 stage RO filter.The resin tank is much larger than our old all in one unit so it will be interesting to see if the resin lasts longer.That only very minor con is that the transparent dust cover that is over the display is a smoky black, which makes it hard to read the panel unless the cover is open. This is really not a big deal since I expect that once it cycles the first time, there really won't be a need to check the display for gallons remaining before next cycle.So far, very happy with the unit.

This Water Softner was very easy to install and set-up. Parts of it are heavy, but can be handled by a reasonably in shape adult. Customer service is very responsive. Depending on water use in the home it may take a few days for the soft water to reach all of the facets. When it does, you can feel the difference! This unit replaces a 10-year+ old Softner with more options, superior performance and much better salt storage.

I have written maybe 3 reviews ever before this one and all were for items I just HAD to brag about. This one makes 4. We have had 4 water softeners in the past…a $4000 General Ionics system about 20 years ago that was awesome, a $600 one-tank system from Home Depot that was mediocre at best and a second hand commercial system that we bought for $300 that worked well. I would definitely compare this one to the $4000 system we had years ago. I am simply amazed at how soft our water is. My husband built our house so installing the system was nothing for him so I can’t speak to the installation but the functionality is way more than I expected for the cost. I am so so happy we purchased this system. It’s my new favorite thing!
