Love these! They are warm and comfortable and versatile, wear over the knee or folded down under knee. Got mud on th and they wiped clean. I really wanted the flat ones but they were not available in my size. I do love these.

I was surprised by how nice These Boots Are. They are a stretchy sort of mesh neoprene type of material all the way up so they fit even my quite large calves which typically I can't get tall boots to even remotely zip or cover and they fit my large calves.

So yes, they'll fit muscular calves, but I am really disappointed with the way they don't stay up unless you have them folded (I wanted above-the-knee boots - these wrinkle and slouch if you wear them that way). I also don't like how you expose the woolen texture when you roll them because they collect so much lint that it's noticeable. The way they bulge from the slits when you have them folded is also not flattering. Ugh, they were expensive so I wish I liked them more - I love my Vessi's, and was hoping these would be a cool tall-alternative in the same fabric.
