I received this product to try out and give my opinion on using it. I’ve used it for a month and I feel like it has helped my hormonal acne I normally get. It’s a watery texture that sinks in to skin fast and there isn’t a smell which is nice. It says to only use one pump which doesn’t feel like a lot but it spreads out ok. I haven’t noticed an improvement in my overall skin texture or dark spots but my face looks more clear. I love the price point and I will for sure buy it again when it runs out because like I said it helps prevent my hormonal acne. First picture is before and second is after.

Lately ive been breaking out on my forehead which hasnt happened in years, on the picture on the right you can see my forehead now after using the skin refine serum for a few weeks. I have oily skin so the mixture of mandelic and salicylic acid works wonders to control the oils on my skin. Because they also chemical exfoliaters i didnt have much issues during a short period of time when i didnt have toner. I basically don't even notice after it's absorbed that i've put anything on my skin. But the benefits are undeniable. I had a slight reaction to this. My sensitive skin tends to not always like mandelic acid formulas, and that happened with this one. I woke up with red warm skin the following morning, and this was the only thing that I tried the night before. Sure enough when I went to try it again, I had the same results. The reason I tried it multiple times is because I always try to see what caused the reaction in my skin. I also had an acne breakout, and I wanted to see if the salicylic acid in the formula would help clear it up. The redness also went away once I washed my face the following morning, so it wasn't a full on allergic reaction at all. Why am I still giving it a high rating? Because I like that it's a fragrance free formula. A little bit goes a long way, I only needed one pump of this for my whole face. As for the texture, this was a little more sticky feeling than I personally prefer. I would still recommend this to a friend since I've enjoyed most other products from Versed.
