Kinda cheap plastic. Really easy to open when your trying to pour thru it. Any real weight and it opens and all you dumped in-falls in the sink. Also colors were wierd. Looks as cheap as it is. And to get it to stay-you have to put a little magnet on your sink-which is an eye sore.
