The first impression of the bag is that it looks like a school bag. This large size has a wide base, which makes it look quite bulky. The padding is alright, though not the best. It features easy side access for a camera and waterproof zippers for the laptop compartment. The internal dividers for various equipment are strong. I would appreciate it more if the bag had a slimmer profile.

This larger version of the new 2026 Brevite Jumper (I purchased the smaller one a couple of years ago) is perfect for my needs. It is just enough larger to actually accommodate my M43 camera with long telephoto lens attached— and still has room for more. The overall dimensions of the bag are not that much larger than the smaller version, so I’m not sure how Brevite managed to put so much usable space inside of this bag! I also like the improved straps with chest strap, and a place to attach items to the straps. And the new outside front pocket is a great addition for small items. Love this bag! Lightweight, roomy, and I’m sure rugged like the original.

Near genius. I've humped camera bags across seven continents over the past 50 years. The discrete, simple, well considered 22l Brevite Jumper is a favourite. My personal hack is to use the Wandrd Essential Camera Cube in the camera compartment. The Jumper's access flaps line up with the Cube and it's quick and easy to convert from carrying camera gear to using the Jumper as an everyday backpack. Top marks Brevite!

It was actually way nicer than I thought, it’s a really good bag

Overall, I love the bag! I just wish the design was more consistent and a little bit more functional. I wish the front zipper pockets had the zipper loops just like all the other ones. I also wish that the side camera opening was the same as the smaller bag version. That opening does not need to be that big. I also wish that there was better configuration for the large bag, as there is really only one comfortable and functional configuration.

Bag small for a Nikon Z8 with 24-70 2.8. Camera/Lense fits very tight and lot enough room for other accessories as advertise. Maybe Jumper Large would fit better as it is larger and specially slightly deeper.

The form factor is exactly what I was looking for in a camera bag. I can carry my camera with a few lenses as well as my MacBook Pro which is a game changer over my previous back. Super easy to carry along as a personal item at the airport, it fits all of the things I might need while on the go. It’s also super easy to access my camera with the side zipper so I don’t have to take the backpack off just to grab my camera. Would definitely buy again!

I bought the first generation bag and loved it, and this next generation bag is even better. Strong durable straps and roomy for all my gear. Thank you.

Although I like my new camera back, communication with the company was just subpar. I ordered my back and it took almost 1 month to arrive. This was apparently due to the back selling out (which I totally understand) but there was no communication as to why my order was late until I reached out to the company. I just really wish there would have been some communication just explaining that my package was going to be late and why, I was honestly starting to think I was scammed due to not having any communication. With the amount of money spent, communication should be sent about the package being delayed.

The extra size is very useful. My one concern is that the separation into two halves that I found so useful in my old Brevite is now just a velcro divider piece which does not seem as stable when I start to shove items into the upper half.

It sits nice on the shoulders, the sternum strap is a nice touch and it protects the camera gear very nicely because of the thick padding. The top compartiment could be a bit more spacious in my opinion. Despite the distance from the US to the Netherlands the delivery time was quite long (1.5 months) but I am very happy with the bag and all its pockets and features. I highly recommend this backpack! Keep up the good work guys!

I've gone through so many camera backpacks over the years. I get really sick and tired of having them scream "hey look, I have camera equipment". When I first saw the Brevite Jumper, I found a used one on Mercari since I couldn't commit to the price tag of a new backpack. I learned quickly the quality is there, it's comfortable, looks great, and doesn't scream "camera bag". When the 2026 edition came out, all the upgrades were there-- sternum strap, larger option (23L), and stiffer interior dividers. The backpack is certainly fitting the bill for my international/larger carrying needs. The material is a little stiffer and not quite as soft as my original Brevite Jumper, which I do miss but it's not a dealbreaker.

The interior dimensions given are not accurate…which is the only reason I bought it. Also the protection level for a bag at this price point is low. Now I am loosing money for the return fees. I was not aware of these fees. CS was polite but dismissive. I cannot wait to ship the bag back and tell every photographer I know about my experience.
