Instant game changer! I use it on my (head) hair every day. I am growing my hair out for 2-3 years and I'm about 11 months in. At the moment, I can't put it up or do really anything with it, but this sea salt spray gives it a light hold that keeps it out of my face and gives it a nice, wavy look. Also... it gives you a stupid amount of volume, which is also nice. I'm going to grow my beard out as well to see how this works with my thin/patchy/light-colored beard.

I remember once when I was a child, I freaked out because my cereal wouldn't stay down...it kept floating to the top. Now I'm a grown man, and my beard wouldn't stay down...but I didn't freak out because I have the sea salt spray, and this stuff works wonders for out of control hair. Yep, it's that awful beard Phase again. the cereal memory was triggered...I had to share it. because it's true.

Hey, this stuff works period. Smells great. If I don’t feel like throwing a ton of product in my hair and I am in a rush I use this in the A.M. before work. Also, I use it after the shower with damp hair and let my hair air dry with this in. Natural waves and a decent hold. Beautiful.

Love this sea salt spray, leaves a good natural hold in my beard and smells great. Temple smoke and spiced citrus are my two favorite smells offered by Beard Brand. I use this mainly when I’m in a rush and don’t have time to shower or was my beard. Just spray some on the beard, style it, and go.

The smell of temple smoke would be like Sage, Palo Santo, Sandalwood, Cedar, and other herbs. This smells like some cheap cologne my grandpa had sitting on his dresser in a novelty bottle shaped like a Ford Model-T. I poured in a ton of Black Pepper and Vetiver oils just to cut the sweetness and make it usable. Don't know if it worked though. Every time I put it on, I still smell that cheap cologne coming through. Makes me feel like, well, a cheap greasy sleaze. Texture-wise, great product. Feel free to send me the other scent and I'll see if they are wearable. Or just a non-scented and I'll conjure my own, more authentic Temple SMoke smell. ;)

I hadn't bought sea salt spray since the original blank slate product launch batch a while back, and I must say I feel some improvement was made to the product as a whole. This new bottle sprays much more evenly so far which is great but it does a little flimsy, we'll see how it holds up. I feel the product formula itself is different as well, more efficient and easy to style, it just feel different in my hair when I style it, in a good way... if I am wrong and nothing really changed except the bottle, well then call me fooled! in any case I use it a lot more often so far then I did the original product... As for the fragrance, I was a bit disapointed there were no more blank slate available to us international buyers (with Target deal being US only), as I liked the versatility of being able to use any other fragranced product in combination with it, but Temple Smoke has been my fragrance for a while now, and it is my current styling balm and utility balm fragrance so no complaints there! ;) My only complaint which as nothing to do with the product itself is the cost of purchase for a Canadian buyer, Shipping is very high for the size of packaging and when you add taxes on import and exchange rate, the total price of purchase becomes very restrictive... and sadly there is no real online Canadian retailer offering the product, there used to be a few, but not anymore, or the few that do don't carry the gold line or the full range of products... for this reason I buy beardbrand a lot less, which is unfortunate because they are my favorite beard product out there...

What they say is true.. it's a great base to use before adding other products. I get out of the shower, pat my beard dry, then spray the sea salt in and rub throughout. This gives me just enough evenly distributed moisture to be able to comb it out and easily apply my beard balm. It's a perfect fit into my beard routine. My beard is quite curly so I can use all the hold I can get, and I believe this helps me out a little bit.

Probably my favorite out of my morning mix of spray,utility, style, wax for the handle bars of the temple smoke. Spray before blow dry. After, your beard feels a little more stiffer and ready to be styled into place. First time using a sea salt spray, I was a little skeptical, but I’m definitely sold, the product works for bigger beards

The product itself smells interesting, in a good way, and has helped me style my hair more effectively especially in adding volume and hold. I have thick, coarse hair that often falls down later in the day and this plus pomade help keep my side-part in place. However, the reviews on the spray pump mechanism itself are correct--this continues to be a problem, and I had the trigger top break on me after slowly failing over a couple weeks. I was sent a replacement but that one broke too and I ended up just having to smear the product through my hair using my hands. The customer service representative said they are changing the pump top, but seems like they have been slow to do anything about this since there are complaints about the spray pump from at least a year ago. So while I will probably buy the product again, I am a bit paranoid that the whole thing will break down on me, making it pretty much useless. For the price that is being charged, I expect them not to cheap out on the bottle, and I hope the company does something to fix this.

I must say, I've tried the sea salt spray a few times now and I'm not finding that I really see a lot of worth in using the product and taking the time in front of the mirror. I have noticed a bit more stiffness, but I don't see myself getting a lot of use from the product.I have vey straight hair, typically around 3-5 inches long.I can get some wave with a styling putty which I prefer to use for the ease of use. I'm sure that its doing what it is supposed to be doing, it's just not what I was expecting.

The smell of temple smoke is good . I like the fact I smell is threw out the day . The hold stays all day too... I recently bout the utlitily bar of temple smoke and I honestly didn't like how it smells . Ima keep trying it maybe I can get used to it lol
