The light up great! I have 8 in a 24’ intex, used magnet to hold just above the “belt”. The magnet is not strong enough to go through the two layers but holds great through one layer, as long as the metal circle is aligned fully. Only one fell off with 6 kids thrashing around in pool and it was not fully on circle. Highly recommend.
