I have owned a steam mop before and it worked well but it was old. Sale for this mop was going on and I went for it. It does not have steam settings, once it’s plugged in and you start using it that’s the one setting. The cord is really short, I plugged and re-plugged 3 times for my living space. Tank is really awkward to remove and put back, feels like you’re about to break it. But with all of that said, steamed the floors very nicely, visible dirt on pad. From experience I immediately put stain remover on it before I put it in the wash. Worth the buy, but nothing to write home about.
