The soju smell is very strong when you open the lid, which I didn’t like for morning workouts. The taste was fortunately not as strong as it smelled, but I’ll opt for a different flavor next time (Lychee and the seasonal Dragonfruit are my favorite, but Mango Green Tea and Yuzu are good too).

So the flavor is accurate to a fault. This actually tastes like alcohol HAHA I was expecting a strawberry yakult flavor because of the reviews and pretty pink color in the photos, but the drink/powder itself is actually brown and tastes more like sweet fermented alcohol with a *hint* of strawberry. I had to take some stars away since the color is misleading, and the strawberry flavor was hard to discern. Functionally, this product does exactly what it says it supposed to do!! I felt the stim and was able to push through those harder workouts. Personally it's not for me since I don't actually like alcohol unless it's drowned with yakult and sprite, but if it's for someone that enjoys the flavor profile of sake, this might be a better fit for them!

Not sure if it’s okay during intermittent fasting but it’s just a tiny amount of calories. However, it gives me tingling sensations all over my body so I tried to drink just half of 200mg of caffeine. I think that’s also because I fast. That seems to help. Also, if you don’t like the strong taste, just dilute it with some more water.

Great pre-workout. Works like a charm. If you're like me though and got this without really knowing anything about soju you may not like the underlying flavor. 4 stars only because I'm not a fan of the taste. Mix it with my other pre-workout to make more palatable. If you like soju though this is for you.

I had really high hopes for this flavor but maybe it's just me, I really did not like the "alcohol smell/taste" to this. I understand it is based on soju but personally not my favorite flavor. I got the lychee pre-workout and it taste 1000/10 better.

I did not like the smell. And the taste was even worse. I dont know what it was, but there was a strong, sharp, taste that tasted real awful. What i will say is that i def felt the stim during my workout so that wasnt bullshit, but the taste was (extra star for that). I recommend playing it safe and getting the lychee. The lychee was so good!
