First can arrived with dents and was damaged during shipping. The replacement came with a large bulge in the front from what looked like a factory defect. Overall, the materials felt cheap and thin for this price so I opted to just return the replacement and go with something. Customer service was great though!

Love these trash cans…this one is replacing our brushed nickel 55L. It did get a nick in it which we were able to fix with a sharpie…hopefully that was a fluke as I really like the black matte

The can and bags are larger and heavier than is comfortable for me. I prefer 13 gallon trash bags that do not work in your trash can. I will not be able to handle more than 13 gallons worth of trash.

Order the trashcan and waited over 2 weeks for delivery before having customer service reach out to say it was undeliverable. Very disappointing customer service.

Yes it’s pricy but my can is out in the open. No place to tuck it away in my kitchen. I splurged after two years of wanting a new can. I could not be happier.

Disappointed that the lid is not white. In the AR view it has a white lid. No photo of the lid on the website to show it wasn’t white. Just ruins the elegance of the SH product.

This is my third Simple Human trash can and I absolutely love them. Not only is their functionality unmatched but they last forever! You must get the bags with them. They fit perfectly and are much sturdier than traditional store bought brands.

I have never been as impressed with a company (in recent memory) as I have with simple human in the way I was treated with my recent experience. I bought a kitchen trash can that opens with a pedal several years ago. We used it regularly with no complaints. Then the hinge broke. I went online to order the part to repair it and it was out of stock. I bought a different brand and it broke in less than a month. I went back online to try and order the part to fix my Simple human can and it was still not available, so I called to see when it was expected. Much to my surprise, I was told they would send me a replacement can and 3 days later it arrived at my home with no charges at all. I went online to give a glowing review and found nowhere to post it. I would very highly recommend the product and the company. Please pass this along with my thanks to whoever should see this. In these times I am reminded of the Progressive Insurance commercials about 'Parentamorphosis or 'becoming your parents'. Upon receiving this incredibly designed and aesthetically brilliant receptacle, I was shook with excitement. I displayed it proudly in the driveway while peacocking to the neighbors of what was about to be in my kitchen. Heads were turning, nods of sincere approval and high fives were plentiful. Shortly after, my kids arrived home from school and were immediately taken through the tutorial: Shown the brilliance, the design, the functionality and were truly amazed. However, their amazement was at how proud and excited I was over what they see as a 'trash can'. Kids have no appreciation for the finer things. I carefully placed the replacement cartridge in it's place. . . LIKE A GLOVE, it fit so perfectly. I then placed the first Simple Human CodeQ custom liner into the magnificent stainless steel receptacle and my heart sang with how snug the drawstring wrapped around the peak of the can. It was like two old friends hugging. I then placed the Simplehuman Odorsorb Pod into it's rightful place on the inside lid and felt accomplishment. It was complete. The masterpiece was finished. I closed the top lid and just stood and gazed at how the lip of the top of the can wraps around to hide the custom liner at the top. It stands proudly as the focal point in our kitchen. Something that everyone is shown as part of a house tour and will forever live in infamy as the best receptacle on the street! Forever yours, Travis

Best garbage can ever. It’s a little pricey but you can’t find this perfect size anywhere else! I got the black matte and was way too excited when opening it! It’s beautiful! Never loved a can so much!
