Wow. Curly girl here that lives in an area with super hard water. The filter is very easy to install and did not change the water pressure whatsoever. After using the filter for a couple weeks, I noticed how much softer and less frizzy my hair was. The proof is in the pictures both taken on wash days. If you have been on the fence with purchasing a shower filter, do it! You won’t be sorry!!

The filter works great and I can tell it because my skin feels better and less itchy, and there are less hard water marks in my shower. I also have to give major props to the excellent customer service - the first one I ordered was leaking from the filter compartment. They quickly resolved the issue and sent a new one, which works perfectly!

Install was simple and quick. However, have had to shake and clean out this shower filter literally after every 4 showers. Very frustrating since it would affect and create almost non existent water pressure. Not sure if the capacity of the filter is just too small for our water pressure and well water. We had a different brand shower filter and changed it a few times a year and cleaned it in between. Chose this w/ all the decent reviews and that the filter wouldn’t impair with the angle or direction of shower nozzle. However reconsidering going back since this is such a hassle to mess with the filter so frequently.

It was easy to install and I noticed a big change with my hair after using it for a month. No more dryness or irritation in my scalp. Hair feels softer as well.

Honestly, I have been using this for about a month or so. I have short hair so I haven’t noticed a huge difference with my hair and the product but, I have noticed my skin is so much better. I haven’t used a ton of new skin products since using this so I don’t know if I can 100% attribute it to the filter but my skin used to be so dry after I showered and now I don’t have to immediately put on lotion. I had really stubborn pimples on my chin that I could not get rid of for MONTHS and they are soo much better and almost gone. It just gives me peace of mind knowing the water I put on my body is doing more good than harm! Will continue to use and purchase filters! As for the installation, my dad did it so not sure how simple it was. I will say, on my faucet, it is pretty low. I am 5’7 and I’m almost hitting my head on it since it adds a few inches down from the original spout.

I’m happy with my purchase. I purchased the shower filter mainly to reduce the calcium hard water buildup in my shower and for skin health. My skin feels better and hair is soft and manageable. I also switched to the rice protein shampoo and conditioner bars and they are fire. Well done on both products, Kitsch!

I really like the idea of this, it was easy to install and combined with the shampoo/conditioner it does seem to be helping with over all hair and skin health. Just need to use for longer to determine if it works as well as you would hope

I've had this filter for 2x weeks now and already seeing the benefits of the filter ! My skin would get red and irritated after a shower no matter the temperature, and now it's been calm and not seeing as much irritation overall. My face hasn't felt as dry after the shower as well. Very happy with this!
