Got the best natural color I’ve ever had, non streaky and no tanning smell! Super easy to put on and rinse off. Definitely my go to tanner from now on!!

I’ve been using Bondi Sands for years and while I have loved the color Bondi gives, I’ve found that it fades too fast, sometimes splotchy. Also, the application of Bondi is a bit messy and leaves me sticky for hours. I’ve been wanting to try different self tanning companies and came across MineTan. I was drawn to their products because of the different undertones. I have a yellow/green light tan skin tone so I’m not sure that dark ash was advertised for me, but I decided to try it because I wanted to see the “cool tan” look dark ash provides. The application of the tan went so much smoother than Bondi Sands. I love how I did not feel sticky at all during and after the process. I always use a blow dryer to dry my tans, and even after doing this when I was using Bondi, I’d still feel wet/sticky even after a blow dry. Not the case for MineTan Dark Ash. I can’t even tell you how in love I was with the guard color. The cool brown tone actually went perfect with my warm olive skin tone. The guard color also dried so fast. I could visibly see the color changing before my eyes. I love how this tanner takes to my face. It’s the perfect color. Also, the fade on this tan is great. Didn’t fade in splotches and the deep color lasted for days. I’m attaching a picture of my legs that I took four days after the application. Still a deep dark tan. I’ve seen reviews where people have said that this tan is only a medium/light level tan, but it definitely took dark to me. I’d equate it to the “Bondi Sands Dark” I only give it 4 stars and not 5 because I wasn’t a super huge fan of the color after I washed the guard off. It has a bit of a red tone and perhaps it’s because I’m used to the Bondi sands olive color, but I’m not sure I love a red based tan on me, think I prefer the olive look.

I love the color. It’s not super dark but I’m sure after a few applications it would deepen. I just love that it’s a beautiful color with no orange tint!!! ❤️

Although it claims to cut out orange color, it still leaves an orange based tan. Overall though no weird smells after washing and it doesn’t leave any uneven areas. Would purchase again.

I've tried a lot of self tanners and this one is definitely my favorite. The color looks really great. My biggest issue with every self tanner is the smell, but this one did not have a bad smell at all. It lasts a few days for me with daily showers which is exactly what I'd expect. I haven't noticed any transfer onto my clothes, but I also wear dark colors and wait for it to fully dry before dressing. My routine is to put it on in the evening a few hours before I shower, wear lounge clothes, then take a regular shower. It says not to use soap but I do (and I just don't scrub) and I still think the color looks good. Sometimes Ill even wear it overnight and shower it off in the morning. Either way I love the results!! Hope this helps. I will say- my only issue with this product was the way it was shipped. Consider taping the lid? Because when I received it, product was everywhere because the lid fell off during shipping (obviously that would happen).

I really wanted this to work for me. I have pale a** skin and can’t sit in the heat like a rotisserie chicken, so I deeply wanted this to work. I’ve tried B.Tan products before, but hated the fact they made me look like a ripe orange. So when I heard this was a grey based tan, I thought, “why not give it another shot?” Long story short, now I look like a Simpson. I’m tan but yellow. I’m YELLOW. Not only that but, where I applied the tan, I broke out in a rash and felt like bugs were crawling on me (itchy). I understand this product works very well for other people and thought it wouldn’t be fair of me to bring down the rating because their products really are good. Just not for little ol’ “cast a ray of sunshine off my a**” me.

This tanner gives a true brown..my skin has a lot of red tones so most tanner go orangey on me...not this one! Smooth brown, long lasting.

I've order this soo many times !! It is the best I have ever used and I have tried everything !!! Love using it with the purple tanning mit. This goemula gives an even color , and the BEST thing about is no orange !! I have never found ANY other self tanner that didn't make me orange ! Smell is not bad at all either ;)

I have a difficult time finding self tan that doesn't turn up orange on my skin. This is the only one that works. It was easy to apply and had no streaks. I did find that the first coat wasn't enough, but after I did a second coat the color came out amazing. Big fan.

I absolutely love the coconut water mine tan! Been using it for years. I decided to change things up this time. That was a huge mistake. This one has no color payoff to me. And the “sunless tanner” smell was soooo strong! I’ll be sticking to my usual from now on.

This is a decent self tanner if used properly looks nice, doesn’t clog pores, and lasts a decent amount of time. It also fades evenly if you exfoliate. Though, even though it’s fragrance free, I can tell from the smell of the product they use the same dyes as other self tanners like st tropez. It seems dark, but once washed off isn’t as strong as they claim it to be but it does look noticeable. I did the full three hours both times and it is not ultra dark at all. Also the next day it looks orange like any other self tanner. Maybe a little less orange but idk it’s not ash brown.

I took the quiz and the dark ash was the chosen product for me. I read the description did the research and believed I made a good purchase. I was wrong. Color did nothing for me and I am a light medium shade.
