These shorts are soooo cute. I receive compliments every time I wear them! The pockets extend to the end of the shirts, so you don't have to worry about your phone falling out when you do squats. Only concern is that the waist band is loose to prevent muffintop. So size down if you want the waist band to be form fitting. I have several ruffle shorts in different colors. The XL was too big, but the L is almost too small and gives me a very minor muffin top. I love these shorts, nonetheless, as they still look flattering and are functional workout shorts. The band on these shorts is a little stiff, which I think is why it's not as comfortable on the waist as the other types of shorts. I still think they are super cute and I wear them all the time for workouts. You might want to size down as they run a little big.

I love the way everything I buy from popflex serves double duty fashin/function and these shorts are mo exception. I dont find the waist to be large on me like some other reviews i saw before i purchased, but its not a tight fit so i can see myself having to take the waist band in a bit at some point. They are super cute though and cant wait to show them off.
