Restor-a-finish is a ‘must have’ product for vintage furniture collectors and flippers!✨ It’s a ‘beginner friendly’ product that is easy to use…and yields satisfying results. 💫 Just follow this easy guide⬇️ Quick & Easy Furniture Restoration Step by Step Guide: •1• Clean your project with a cloth dipped in a bath of warm water and the soap of your choice. I prefer Simple Green for dingy furniture to remove any oily residue or build up. I also use Murphys Oli Soap if the furniture is relatively clean. Wipe dry. ❗️If your project has a veneer, Do Not get it very wet and follow up immediately with a dry cloth. •2• Lightly hand sand any scratches or imperfections with fine grit sand paper. This step is optional, but does help create a smoother finish. •3• Apply Restore-A-Finish liberally to your entire project. Let dry. Wipe off any excess. I prefer using lint free cloths (or cut up an old tee…works great!) This type of restoration is meant for vintage & antique furniture that just needs a little love. Howard restor a finish in ebony brown - this was my first time using this product and it worked great for fixing some minor rough spots on this vintage mirror. This product has a little stain in it and it’s meant to work into the existing finish. ‼️My understanding is that it is very difficult to fully refinish something after using this product. It did work great for this, but if you think you’ll ever want to fully refinish something, it might not be the best. #restorafinish #refurbished
